I make homemade sourdough bread loaves, and they aren't as tall as regular bread, so this little squirrel keeps us from burning our fingers every morning. It's easy to use, is and I leave it on the counter right beside the toaster because it's so cute!

My dad is celiac and if you've ever eat gluten-free then you know the hassle of smaller portions than the average bread products. He constantly was getting his bread stuck in the toaster because not only are the pieces smaller, but fall apart more easily. My dad is in his 70's w/ smaller living spaces so toaster ovens and such are out of the question.Anyways, about these squirrel tongs...I looked into other ones and wasn't impressed because there are so many options - until I came across these squirrel ones! I thought they were cute and kind of got them as a gag gift for my dad, but him, my mom and I actually are IN LOVE with them! They work well, don't burn and he loves that he can hang them on our shelf above the toaster. We would 100% recommend them to anyone. They just give a little extra to the kitchen than plain old ones.

These are pretty cute! The do grab toast, though we just got them to sit next to the toaster and they do that job without complaint!!
