If you are having lots of fruit flys, these Zevo’s can help you to figure out how they are getting into your house. I had thought they were coming through one of my bathroom fixtures so to prove this, I put one of these in each room with water and a drain. When you see which one is catching the most flies, change out your wax rings , bomb your sink and shower drains with vinegar and baking soda. I had a cracked commode flange was allowing these little bastards to come and go as they wanted. I just changed out the flange and wax ring and installed a new Zevo replacement and I’m not seeing or catching anymore fruit flies. Just isolate each room by closing the doors and let the Zevo tell you where these things are coming from. It made it easy to figure out how and where they were coming from and it wasn’t coming in with the fruit. Thanks Zevo! It’s a wonderful effective product. Simply amazing... I live in a house built in the 1980's and I'm just below the ground level. I was fighting with gnats that I just couldn't find the source of. I tried everything. Yard waste (leaves, dead grass) made sure all around the house was clear, still bugs... sticky traps, catching all kinds of bugs... I was growing a garden of carnivorous plants, 4-5 different kinds... I was that desperate... then my local hardware store introduced me to...The Zevo trap. I bought a couple and instantly noticed it was catching them. So... I bought a bunch more... plugged them in all over the lower part of the house. After a week or so, I was able to home in on where I believed they were coming from. I ripped up the carpet (that someone laid down right over the concrete) and found a bunch of cracks in the floor and concrete foundation. Chiseled and sealed them all.... NO MORE BUGSBecause I a constant worrier... I keep them plugged in and check them every month or so. Then I just mark the sticky trap to determine if the problem is coming back (paint marker... I paint... the dead bugs on the trap.... I know).Side benefit (depending on how you look at it) the blue LED acts like a night light. So beware, if you are planning on using these in a sleeping area, you may want to buy some eye covering sleep masks.
