So its worth using a spooled filament.The prints I am getting are faultless, auto bed leveling is amazing (this is the first one I've had with it).Heats up very quick. Prints really fast. Certainly worth the purchase, for me anyway. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great 3D printer at a very reasonable price *by I***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 April 2023* This is a review for Flashforge Adventurer 3 Lite. The printer is the same as the Adventurer 3 but has no camera or end of filament detection, but is a lot cheaper. (FYI the Adventurer 3 Pro has a glass print bed but again the printer is basically the same as the Adventurer 3.)This is my first 3D printer so I can't compare it except against my expectations. I was looking for a printer that could do PLA, ABS and ideally PETG materials, that was enclosed and ready assembled, that I could use straight away without too much tweaking, had Wi-Fi connectivity and was sub £300. YouTube research showed that the Adventurer 3 could fit the bill, and I was about the get one for just under £300 when I saw the Lite version for £70 less. It took a while to find out what the difference was, as the Flashforge website didn't really mention it, but in the end I discovered the difference and decided I could do without a camera so I bought the Lite.First impressions were a bit disappointing as when I tried to feed in the supplied PLA filament it wouldn't feed into the print head. I had the do a bit of YouTube research, disconnected refitted the PTFE feed tube, and then it worked. The test cube printed very well using all the default settings. Since then I have designed and printed lots of items. There is lots to learn but (apart from the feed glitch) you can start printing useful things from day one.I have found that, at least for the kind of work I wanted to do, the 150mm cubed work space is perfectly adequate. The print bed is satisfactory, the filament sticks to it but it is easy to remove the finished models. With the enclosure it is very quiet, and I have it printing next to me while I work. Many people comment on the fact you can only fit 250g print spools inside the machine. I haven't found this much of a problem in terms of finding PLA supplies (I use Luftzeuge) and if you want you can have the side door open and use a 1kg spool on an external stand. The slicing software Flashprint is very easy to use, and I use default settings expect I have turned off "rafts" as I haven't found the need for them. The picture shows a "Benchy" printed with standard print quality and no tweaking of the defaults, and it is pretty good in terms of finish, details and dimensions. Some users have commented on the simplistic bed levelling (only sets the height of the middle of the bed) but the latest firmware (which downloads and updates automatically if you are connected to the Internet) now uses 9 points. The Internet connection makes it very easy to download models from Thingiverse or design things with Tinkercad on your PC, and send them to the Flashprint slicing software and straight to the printer, without USB cables or constantly copying files on USB memory sticks (although you can do that).In summary I would recommend this printer to any first time user. I am very pleased and somewhat amazed how at the quality of work I have produced in a few days. Also the casing only supports 500g of filimant and anything larger then that the wheel is too big.
