Cat toy for a picky cat and some dental cleanng
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have one cat that won't play with cat toys such as catnip mousies or stuffed fish etc., but LOVES these rope toys. And, since he gnaws on them, his teeth stay cleaner. The color bands are some kind of string wrapped around the rope core, and I find that after a short while, the ends where the colors change get loose and start unraveling. I just tie the two ends of one color to the next color in a tight knot and that stops the unraveling and the cat thinks it's great anyway.

Durable toy that my boys love!
The media could not be loaded. This is one of the most durable toys that my cats have! The size makes this cat toy easy to use to keep my cats busy for endless hours of play time and fun. They seem to be attracted to the colors on the rope as well.

My cat likes these.
These are great, but they should be smaller/shorter for easier play. When I play along with my cat she's very engaged, but when she plays solo her interest is short lived. I think if they were smaller/shorter it would encourage more independent play. Seems durable overall, but the small bead was chewed off within the first day.

Large and cats lost interest
Cats lost interest after they ate the treat and had them for a couple days. They are pretty large, so I think that’s what deterred them

Cats ignore them.
Picture makes them look like springs, but they are just pieces of rope and do not interest my cats

Cat not interested
First off I want to say I'm not sure why everyone is so concerned with the "ball" that comes off easily. It's not a ball. If they read the box they would see it's gall fruit. It's suppose to eventually come off....Anyway, that seemed to be the only exciting part of the toy to my cat. Once the gall fruit was completely chewed off he was uninterested any further. Also as others have mentioned they are not shaped as shown. They are just completely straight. He does not want to play with it or chew the rope or anything. So, it kept him entertained for a day but other than that no I wouldn't recommend.
