Effortless Grill Cleaning with the Onion Grill Cleaner!
I recently got my hands on the Onion Grill Cleaner Tool, and let me tell you, it's a game-changer for keeping my grill sparkling clean.First off, let's talk about the build. This grill cleaner is solidly constructed from stainless steel, giving it a sturdy feel that's built to last. The handle is well-designed, keeping my hand safely away from the heat while I clean my grill grates. Now, onto performance. Using the natural acidity and liquid properties of onions, this brush effortlessly tackles stubborn grime, food residues, and grease on my grill. It's amazing how easily it wipes away dirt, leaving my grill looking and feeling fresh without any worry of bristles shedding or detergent residues. The best part? It's incredibly easy to use and saves me time. With just three simple steps, I can revive my grill in no time. Plus, cleaning the onion fork afterward is a breeze – just rinse it with water and it's good to go for next time.Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with the Onion Grill Cleaner Tool. Who knew?
I had never heard of cleaning a grill with an onion before. I'd been using a sort of pumice stone (with a handle) to clean my grates and I could see that little residue was left behind. I always ended up trying to wipe down the grates but worrying about what I was leaving behind.I can't believe I'm saying this, but an onion does clean the grates. Mind you, it only cleans the area it can touch and since this isn't a wire brush that can get between the grate openings, you'd have to flip the grate (once it was cool enough) to get the underside. My only "issue" with this device is that I felt like the onion got pressed into the cup of the holder and then the edges of the holder were scraping the grate. Next time I think I'm going to cut the onion not quite in half and use the bigger section to stick into the holder. I'll also use less pressure and see if I still get the desired results.Overall, this works. Who knew?

Handy Tool for Cleaning the Grill with an Onion
Cleaning the grill with an onion was a new concept for me, so I decided to give this tool a try. It securely holds a halved onion, making the cleaning process much easier and more efficient. The tool grips the onion well, allowing you to scrub the grill with ease. Not only does it make grill cleaning simpler, but it’s also easy to wash afterward. I've been really pleased with how well it works and how straightforward it is to use. If you're looking for an innovative way to keep your grill clean, this tool is definitely worth considering.

Very strong and sturdy tool.
I would otherwise have absolutely no use for this. However, thanks to the interwebs and fear-mongering, I'm now scared to keep using the wire brush for cleaning grill grates that were used my entire life growing up and used by myself up to now. There's a bunch of stuff on the internet that says a wire can dislodge from a brush and enter the food, then your kids/loved ones will be doomed. Anyway, since I'm not timid and scared, I looked for an alternative, and this was it. After I watched a video online with some dude with an Australian accent saying this great, I tried it. It doesn't seems to clean the grates nearly as well as the wire brush, but now the only thing I have to fear is a loose strand of onion getting stuck in my family's throat. The grip and construction of this is very tough, and reminds me more of something made in the older days, like, rather than being plastic on the handle it feels like glass-injected polymer.

Surprise! It works!
I'd never heard of cleaning grill grates with an onion, but after last year's barbecue when wire bristles made their way into the food, I wasn't going to go the wire brush route anymore. I'd already tried grill scrubbers and found them less than effective for us, so I tried this onion grill cleaner tool. It works! Mind you, the grates are not quite as clean as they were when I could scrape everything off with the wire brush (leaving a few nasty wires here and there), but they look pretty good and that's all I really ask for. And no wires to swallow! The tool is well made and SOLID! It is built to last. I'm looking forward to using it over the course of many seasons. I would reorder this if needed.

Better than expected
I am quite impressed with this tool. My dad religiously cleans the grill with an onion before grilling, to add better flavor. He usually uses a fork for the job. This tool increased the quality of the cleaning, the power and the comfort. Because of the long reach, it gets cleaned in less time than with the fork. That, along with the softer handle allows for it to have a better control and therefore has more elbow power. It’s just overall more comfortable to use than a fork. 10/10

Did absolutely nothing
The media could not be loaded. I feel like this should be one of those gag gifts they give during Christmas time, but no… it’s legitimate and boasts a 100% cleaning ability where-as bristles are given a 75% value, opposed to what? There’s no distinction made other than it cleans better, but I can assure you… it doesn’t.Unboxing this was exciting, I had the grill prepped, grates ‘carbonized’, and my onion split. I head on over to my 600 degree grill and prepare to clean and flavor the grates - to my surprise, it couldn’t take anything off. I scrubbed side to side, up and down, I went as far as cranking up the heat (if 500-600F isn’t enough); the results were pretty obvious, the onion sticks to the grates with frills of the vegetable being fused onto the hot metal. All this does was create more of a mess and lengthen my prep time, really not happy with its cleaning ability.I gave this grill cleaning onion holder 2 stars, with the second one being the sturdiness of the tool itself, and the first one because it’s the lowest I can go. I will admit that the construction of this cleaning tool is very strong, I was knuckling down pretty hard while trying to clean the grill, but the only thing that broke was my expectations.
