Delivered as described. It arrives fully charged, so I can't confirm that the solar charge option works. However, I love that solar charging is an option at all. I live in an area that gets hit with hurricanes regularly, and having an option during a power outage that doesn't require matches or batteries while also looking good in the room is great. The different light/tone options are all pretty in the room. Very often solar lights can be harsh. You will need more than one if your goal is to light up a room, but if you need spotlighting to read or work at a table, it does well. I went back to purchase two more.

I haven’t use the cord to charge it once in the months I’ve had it. The solar panel works! I keep it by my window every day, and it works for about 90 minutes before shutting off. It you need more time, I suggest using the charger. The lamp looks very nice. It’s made well. It’s not very bright, but it’s perfect for my desk. I love the size. Perfect all around.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Works as advertised. Excellent for power outages. Decent brightness, but not super bright. These are brighter than another solar lamp I bought. 3 light settings. Easily transportable. I have purchased 3. Battery on one lasts for a couple hours. I set it by the window to charge between power outages and so far it has been charged when I need it. Easy to use and convenient.Great for old houses with limited electrical outlets. My son uses on his desk under his loft. Good gift for older people to use during power outages because they can safely and easily transport to where they need it.

Great little table lamps for minimal lighting. Charge lasts for a long time- would buy again.

This little lamp is classy, attractive and works for a long time on a charge. I have gotten quite a few compliments on it!

Love these. Had 1 for 2 years and liked it so much I purchased another one.

While it is a beautiful, light and comfortable size product for a desk or table, it does not have long illumination time. About 90 minutes at full brightness and about 2 1/2 to 3 hours at lowest light level. If you need bright light for longer period of time, purchase another type of lamp or purchase another one of these so that when the light is out you can use the replacement one. It also takes a long time to fully charge under the sun. I live in the tropics and it took quite a while. In fact, I've used my portable solar kit to recharge it fully at times as direct solar lighting for a complete day doesn't seem to suffice.
