Very handy long reach powerful magnet.

I'm a keen DIYer and have had a few types of 'magnet on a stick' in the past. They're generally not very good.My primary use is getting dropped tools, screws or sockets out from awkward spots in the car, home or workshop.Previous such tools could pick up a single screw, but not a screwdriver. A metal wrench would be impossible, and since I routively drop the wrench for my table saw into the saw when undoing the blade, this is a problem!Enter this new gadget. It's very long at about a metre when fully extended. And the magnet is super strong. More than strong enough to grab tools or anything.I first needed it when I knocked a whole box of m3x15mm screws off the bench onto the dusty floor. A few quick sweeps with this magnet meant I picked up all the screws without having to bend down.Brilliant.Only negative thing to say - the actual telescoping rod doesn't feel that sturdy. So long as you use this as intended I think it's fine, but it feels like it will bend and break if misused.

OK the magnet might pick up 35lb but the telescopic section will pull apart if you try lifting it. Telescopic part became fully extended and jammed. Managed to punch it back down but would not like to try again. Had to slide the object off as I did not dare lever it off with it closed as I think the head would have come off. Just make sure you can slid it off otherwise it could be there for good.

Ich hatte eine Motorsense-Feder im Gras verloren und obwohl ich die Stelle auf 1 m2 eingrenzen konnteums verrecken nicht gefunden. Da kann mir die Idee mit einem Magneten. Binnen 15 Sekunden hingsie dran. Also für sowas super geeignet.

Die Bergung einer Ölablassschraube aus einem vollen Altölfass war damit kein Problem.

J'ai un aimant monté sur flexible qui fonctionne bien dans ces cas-là. Mais lorsqu'il s'agit de ma clef à cliquet, bien plus lourde... Ca se complique.Le manche (dont la qualité me semble légère) est téléscopique mais pas flexible, ce qui ne facilitera pas son usage. Mais compte tenu de sa puissance, un manche flexible n'aurait jamais atteint le fond du bloc moteur : il aurait "attrapé" le moteur plus haut sur le trajet. Donc pas de reproche là-dessus.A l'utilisation il est puissant. Vraiment. Mais pas forcément autant qu'annoncé, et la façon d'aimanter la cible est au moins aussi importante que le poids qu'il est sensé supporter (voir vidéo).Bilan : un outil pratique, aucun doute.
