I sent this product link to my mom and in doing so noticed some 1-star reviews. So I wanted to write my own to say that I've been using two of these (one for olive and one for canola oil) for two years now and have never had any issues with them.I hold it at a 60-80 degree angle, and am able to spray onto flat pans, foods etc with no issues. Just hold it closer to the surface than you would with the aerosol. The only time I have a problem is when the oil in the bottle is very low, it doesn't spray well. But easy solution, I just put more oil in. To put oil in the bottle, a turkey baster works perfectly! Other methods I tried, like a teeny funnel, were somewhat messy.People have said they don't do a mist, only a stream. This is not the case for me. The mist is not as fine as with aerosol, but nothing could be (that's a big reason for aerosol; the pressure)-- but it's definitely not a stream.The main advantages of these to aerosol cans for me are:1) I use them to mist foods I'm going to air fry, which aerosol cans don't work well for2) Unlike aerosol, they can be used on 'non-stick' coating (since nothing is perfectly non-stick)3) I'm not having to recycle a bunch of cans. (I also have a whipped cream maker can for this reason too.)

I love that I can fill this with any oil I want. I don't like buying cooking sprays so I usually just use a napkin with oil on it but it's a waste. It's very easy to use. It does spray evenly but once in a while the oil comes out as a stream.. I think when I haven't used it in a while and with every first spray. It can easily collapse so I do wish it had a wider base.

I’ve bought this oil sprayer before and it worked great. I think this was my fourth. Previously the sprayer worked really well and the only reason I replaced was due to breaking the glass (my fault not the product). Unfortunately a tiny white piece of plastic fell out of the nozzle the first time i used this newest one. It appears to be what makes the sprayer diffuse oil. Sprayer doesn’t work without it and I tried popping the plastic back in but just pops out on every spray.

This is such a great product. My olive oil in my soy sauce bottles have always been a real mess always having to keep washing them and cleaning them with paper towels from the drips and under them on the kitchen counter always a mess. Now that I bought this item it’s so clean so simple no messy nothing is slippery or crusty. Everything is Beautiful simple small bottle. I can refill it whenever needed. I don’t have to have the big bottles there and I just love that I can take it to the table and it looks nice. I don’t have to have different containers for table and kitchen and I love how the spray is like a mist, so I really can control the amount. It doesn’t over poor .

UPDATE: I purchased this item some 8 months ago and it has worked perfectly as described below. However, I purchased again recently and the new version of this product is terrible. Now, the spray is terrible, does streams, drips down the front, just terrible to use.SELLER, PLEASE GO BACK TO THE PREVIOUS DESIGN.I have read reviews that some people are having issues with this unit. I cannot speak to your issues, but this is what I do. Melt butter, pour into glass sprayer. Put top on. Swirl the butter around to thoroughly mix as the fat tends to settle at the bottom where the pickup tube is. Then, start pumping and coat your popcorn. You need to pump several times as the mist is very fine, then shake up the popcorn, and do it some more, adding popcorn salt all the while. When you are completely done, remove the sprayer from the glass holder, fill a cup with the hottest tap water you have, then pump the hot water through the sprayer into the sink until pickup tube and pumper are clean. Put something on top of the glass holder to keep the dust out, and set it aside till next time. I have done this procedure 3 times now, and the butter sprayer works great each time and I fully expect it to continue to work. On each use, microwave glass container that has the butter in it for ONLY 5 SECONDS AT A TIME. It is now hot again. Swirl it around or shake it with the top on, start spraying. I think one of the issues people are running into is the seller changed the mfg to a lesser quality, or maybe a bad batch.

I bought this product because it was more friendly on the pockets than buying oil spray at the grocery store. Also it’s eco friendly and we can trust the oil that it dispenses.

I really liked how it evenly coated food with no dripping. Clean up was easy with the brush provided. I also liked that they provide a brush so I didn't have to purchase another. I am going to buy another one for the other oils I have.

It looks like it has come out of a cracker and should be avoided at all costs. Cheaply made and arrived broken. Save your money.

最初何回かは調子良くスプレーできていたのですが、あるとき上の旗が外れてしまい、バネが思うようにハマらなくなり、今はふたを外して使っている状態なので、手がベタベタになります。期待してたのですが、ちょっとがっかりしました。

Was great for spraying oil on foods for roasting/air fryer. It did not last. Item cracked when I tightened the cap after filling. I did not over-tighten.
