Works as well as the original. Loved my original Dust Deputy, was even more excited about the lower profile version. It has lived up to the Oneida reputation of quality, and performance. This fits so much nicer, and coupled with my new Hercules dust collector (Harbor Freight) has really helped the dust levels in the shop

This thing is terrific for removing the vast majority of what the shop vac pulls through which keeps the vac filter clean, and because of that, the vacuum is able to maintain full suction power which is amazing from a user perspective.The lid is easy to take on and off, and the low-profile fits under my miter saw easily which is a huge improvement over the super tall awkward earlier versions.It's lovely to not need to bang the filter clean every once in a while - absolutely worth the investment here, can't recommend enough!

TransferOnce you get it set up, this thing absolutely works. Virtually zero sawdust goes to your vac. However, setup is a bit involved and the unit has to be carefully positioned on the bucket. During use, the suction from the vac keeps the whole thing together. However, it is easy to knock the unit off when it’s not in use. The manufacturer should come up with a better method of latching this to the bucked. Overall, it’s a good solution and definitely cheaper than other ways to collect saw dust. You may need to get an adapter to connect it to your shop vac.

Works just as claimed. Set up is relatively easy. I paired this with a Hercules Dust Extractor and I can catch everything from my tools in the garage from my sander up to my planer. Glad I purchased this…

Cheap crap don’t buy it. The lid doesn’t lock properly. It needs at least two or four more points for it to properly lock. Definitely not worth the money. If you are a hobbyist and you’re barely using it, maybe it would last. I’m a flooring refinisher. After using the low-pro for one day I can definitely say that this is a bad product.I’ve been using the original Oneida cyclone since 2016 and I still have it and use it every day. But I’m building a new vacuum for my new crew. Just wanted to try something new that they offered.Developer, please update the top to fit and lock properly a regular 5 gallon bucket.

This is the best tool I've purchased in a while. Yeah, it's a glorified bucket, but it works!! Keeps my dust extractor from sucking in all the dust and chips, and my mitersaw table incredibly clean. Put the extractor on a auto on/off switch and transformed the mitersaw into a tool that's a dream to use. Very happy!!

Works incredibly well. I use it to prefilter a Delta quiet shop cvac on my CNC machine. Very little, dust, almost none, reached the caniister of the shop vac. That was probably because I let the bucket get too full before emptying it.
