The Power of Your Subconscious Mind Review: Murphy - The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy is a book written before the fairly recent and popular book, The Secret, which is very similar in ideas. The Subconscious mind can be thought of as pure consciousness, god, creative intelligence or any number of similar concepts. The power of the subconscious mind lies in its ability to channel ones desires into reality since it is connected to all things as its very nature. It is really nature, also. The techniques in this book for reaching the "place" where ones desires can be fulfilled are very powerful and seem correct. Having also read the more recently popular The Secret, it was obvious to me that they are talking about exactly the same thing. Being an artist, I have experienced the feeling a person can get when the subconscious is contacted through the timelessness of very long periods of drawing without interruption. One goes into a zone or flow in which gives a person the sight and ability usually not possible. This is pointed out in the book, Golf Flow, about the same thing occurring with golfers when everything works just right and time seems to pass in a way not experienced normally. I seem to be off of the point of the book I'm reviewing, but I see a direct connection with The Power of the Subconscious and the concepts in these other books. If there is one area that I find fault with in this book, it is the reference to Christianity very often. This brings in the religious feeling which he does state, is not needed to accomplish the techniques in this book. I was told by the person who recommended this book to me, that this is because when it was written, it was during a time period when this was important to do in order to reach any audience at all. I believe Murphy did this intentionally so that he could keep his readers long enough to give them another way to "pray" or accomplish life goals. Many readers today will find this to be no problem at all, either way. Overall, this is a very good book to read if you are trying to improve something about yourself, help to cure a physical condition or to be more successful in life. It does work and Joseph Murphy explains easy techniques for accomplishing whatever goals you might have. Review: Best Dollar Ever Spent - I absolutely loved this book. I had a dream I was reading about the subconscious mind and recalled the name of the author in my dream. When I realized the author was indeed real and also wrote extensively on the subject, I felt intrigued to know why my mind revealed this to me. Ive read dozens of books on the subjects for philosophy, physics, emotional intelligence, psychology, energy, science, metaphysics, quantum physics, of the super conscious mind and subconscious mind; but this book was like a gem and came in for less than a buck. Joseph Murphy explains in great detail what your subconscious mind is, how it works, how to use it, how it can work against you if you're not careful, and how to create the life you want. I was searching for answers regarding my intuitive gifts regarding clairvoyance, claircognizance, and on intuitive empathic abilities... but wanted to know of other ways to manage any psychic sensitivities I have towards others and mainly managing negativity and negative people in a constructive way...but i wanted to understand more on the subconscious mind. I always felt that there was a special tool that could answer that. I personally don't have the heart to ever desire misery, death, or anything inhuman to others and I have an unshakeable persistence to see and feel compassion for those who feel this way and to not lose hope in helping people realize their worth in life. This book sealed the deal for me in all these areas. If you are miserable, envious, always negative, insecure with friends and with your spouses, and you condition your subconscious mind with different types of negativity, you're programming your subconscious mind to manifest that in physical form. As a man thinketh, so is he. You are what you think. The within is expressed in the without. Thoughts are a form of energy, and what you speak, act, or say manifests in physical form and it generates through the subconscious mind. Your subconscious mind is like a watchdog always on guard and a keeper of your past life and present memories. Sad to see how people often cheat themselves out of their own happiness. Most people who aren't happy with themselves turn to drugs, they envy, they murder, they steal, they gossip and calumniate others, they ruin their marriages through irrational fears and insecurities, they make themselves miserable and sick by complaining about everything, and other sorts of nonsense. Everyone can succeed in monumental ways and achieve the life they desire because the universe is limitless and eternal just like our subconscious mind and our spirit. Every person has a treasure trove within them. Do that very thing you are passionate about and release any limiting beliefs and false illusions that hold you back. If you have fears, they become self fulfilling prophecies. Some people were born to write, others were born to bring their visionary ideas into amazing architectures or as great and efficient innovations. Nikola Tesla accessed his ideas via the subconscious mind and Albert Einstein discovered his scientific breakthroughs and Michelangelo discovered new artistic masterpieces through the subconscious mind. I have always had dreams even as a kid where I'm actually learning something fairly new and to this day feel mesmerized by what comes up but always wondered where my mind was extracting psychic impressions, new learning material, ideas, answers, and solutions. This book came through a dream I had and I'm absolutely certain anybody, no matter what your concern is in life and regardless of your age or what your situation is, will benefit greatly from this book. That much I know to be true.

Great info, can get repetitive at times
"The Power of Your Subconscious Mind" is a thought-provoking book that offers valuable insights into the power of the subconscious mind when it comes to manifesting desires. While it provides a wealth of knowledge on harnessing this power to attract what you want in life, it's important to note that the message can become repetitive at times. The book excels in explaining how our thoughts and beliefs shape our reality and how we can reprogram our subconscious mind for positive change. It provides practical techniques to break free from self-limiting beliefs and create a mindset geared towards manifesting desired outcomes. However, the repetitive nature of the content can be a minor drawback. Some concepts are reiterated frequently throughout the book, which might make it feel a bit longer than necessary. Despite this, "The Power of Your Subconscious Mind" remains a valuable resource for anyone seeking to shift their mindset and manifest their goals. If you can overlook the occasional repetition, you'll find this book to be a powerful tool for personal transformation and achieving a more positive and fulfilling life.

Joseph can truly render a very complex matter such as the subconscious mind that much accessible you'd almost doubt his teachings, yet he is one of the most excellent and best students, along with Neville, of Abdullah. A more than enough reason to read every single sentence ( if not word ) very very carefully and with a keen intellect.
