Works without issues
Bought a tablet for my parents and since it only had USB-C, I purchased this so they can use earphones and charge at the same time. It's been working flawlessly without any issues. Good solid quality cable with thick cable construction and tight fitment on the connectors. Charges without issue and no audio quality loss from standard 3.5mm earphones.

Functionality
Just bought new phones and didnt realize there was no headphone jack. These adaptors are perfect, you can use.your headphones and charge at the same time. The adaptors seem very sturdy and solid. These are only for C cords to C. Not USB. I love these adaptors they fixed our issue.

NOT Compatible with iPhone 16 and or iOS 18; Very Bad Mechanical Design
This $10 for 2 Sixsim USB-C to 3.5mm Audio Adapters (ASIN B0CGV8QBV9) has a HORRIBLE audio jack that nearly destroyed my Apple headphones plug AND Is NOT compatible with headset line controls connected to iPhone 16—the start-stop control works, but neither the volume-up, nor volume-down controls function. I tested this with one of my several "Apple In-Ear Headphones with Remote and Mic" (pn MA850G/B) and a new Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max running iOS 18.0.1. (I did not bother testing pass-through charging, nor the microphone functionality, as my principal use would have been listening with comfortable headphones and it is now late at night.)The Sixsim USB-C to 3.5mm Audio Adapters listing explicitly states both "Volume control" and iPhone 16 Pro Max compatibility. My careful testing results demonstrate such claim is false.I suspect that Sixsim did not actually test iPhone 16 compatibility.I did affirm, when first connecting, that my headphones were indeed "Headphones" (as opposed to some other device).I tried every permutation of the following:connecting the USB-C first;connecting the 3.5 mm audio plug first;Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Headphone Safety > USB Audio Accessories > "Forget[ting] All USB Audio Accessories"I suspect this product was NEVER actually tested with Apple headphones. Insertion of the Apple headphone plug into the Sixsim audio jack required unusual force. The HORRIBLE issue was that I had to struggle MIGHTILY (I'm 6'4" and pretty strong) removing the Apple headphone plug from the Sixsim audio jack, fearing that I might tear the Apple headphone plug apart.I do NOT recommend this product, nor Sixsim.By the way, the $9 Apple USB-C to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter (Apple pn MW2Q3AM/A ; ASIN B0D7FF5Y3X) I bought from Amazon works perfectly.

After 1.5 years, 4 out of 5 still working perfectly
Didn't think we needed all 5 cables, but when I bought them we were just shifting over to USB C, and had no extras at all. This was particularly annoying when kids would visit, and they would "borrow" a cable to charge their phones...tired of playing hide-and-seek for the cable after the kids went home.Enter this multi-color pack of 5 USB C charging cables. I chose them for low cost, rubber reinforcement at ends, braided coverings, 6 feet long cables, and the different colors. Hubby and I each took one, we put one in a common area, one in the car, and one in the drawer for visitors.Kids moved away, we work from home now, so the extra ones migrated to our home offices, and all of them get used regularly. The only one that lost its mojo is the one I used for overnight charging. As my phone got older, it doesn't hold its charge as long. When using it in bed, I therefore often had it plugged in while I used it. Laying on my back, charging cord straight out of the bottom of phone, and resting the cord on my chest. That is, I have been stressing the end of the cord and now it has become finicky. All 4 others work same as when new. The one I use in bed needs to be at exactly the right angle to work, and sometimes won't keep working no matter the angle. I figure that is user induced damage. Today it occurred to me there might be charging cords that have a right-angle at the end, specifically to allow resting on the cord. Happily, it turns out such a configuration exists, and I'll be buying one to replace #5. And while I'm here, seemed worth writing a review.

Decent, but has a few issues
It is able to charge at full speed and output full quality audio at the same time as advertised. However, there is a delay where the audio cuts out completely for a few seconds whenever you plug or unplug the power cord. Also, the adapter gets hot when it is fast charging, I used it with an 18W fast charger and it got pretty hot. I wonder if the whole thing would melt if you plugged it into a 60W charger which is what it advertises as being the maximum wattage it can handle.
