Making an Almost Perfect Headstrap PERFECT for the Oculus Quest 3!
The media could not be loaded. So, we all know the stock strap is complete garbage and the most uncomfortable thing on this earth. After extensive research across numerous brands, it seems pretty much more or less like the best choices we all have for owners of Quests 2 and 3 is either:1) the elite strap upgrade from meta2) Kiwi Headstrap models3) Bobo S2 / S3 modelsWhereas the elite strap upgrade from meta is definitely a step up from the stock strap, it still was lacking for better overall comfort for me, so I narrowed it down between the Kiwi brand and the Bobo brand. Here is why I ended up choosing the Bobo S3 pro and after running into a common issue of the halo design and cog tightening wheel often coming loose everytime you looked top far up or down, I STILL decided it was the best Headstrap for me after adjusting some tweaks.PROS-Honestly amazing comfort, I've tried quite a few headstraps and for me the Bobo S3 is great. I like how you can customize the Headstrap to more or less fit your head, it really helps take off the pressure points compared to the stock model.-One of the main reasons I got this, Hot swap batteries!! The 10000mah batteries for this are great, and the magnetic connecting makes it seamless to take on and off and swap for another one. One battery and your headset gets 5 hours playing even the most intense demanding games. I bought an extra so can always charge one while I play with the other.-Cooling fan option, this was a neat little bonus I did not expect to want or need, and for most games, I will never use it, but for more intensive exercise games, it is a nice little touch to feel air blowing on your forehead for sure. Some people have complained of the noise, but I keep it between 50-70% and I barely notice it.CONS-The main problem most users have reported with this Headstrap, is the fact the cog wheel on the back used to tighten the Headstrap often comes loose Everytime you look up and down, causing your entire headstrap to start moving off your head and makes you need to constantly reposition when playing games that use these movement constantly.NOTE: I have figured out a way to reduce this cog wheel from ever coming loose and it has completely fixed this issue. See attached video where I just used a Velcro strap to tighten it after adjusting on my head. Literally night and day difference!! Search "Velcro strap for duty vest / armor best / molle vest" or something to that nature and you will find plenty options for relatively cheap.-some users report the two upper pads are uncomfortable on their head, I personally like these, but they are completely removable and he Headstrap is secure just the same, tbh you don't even need them at all, I just like the additional support personally but thought I'd mention it for anyone wondering.-weight, some users say it is a little too heavy, however I find with the Headstrap on with a battery, it almost perfectly counter balances the quest 3 headset itself, so to me I think this is a PLUS, I just had to include this in my review as well to be thorough.CONCLUSION-I think the fact Bobo has a swappable battery option, and has excellent comfort, and in my opinion, the battery system is better than the kiwi because of it being swappable and never needing to take the headset off to keep using another battery. The main issue where the Headstrap comes loose for users can be rectified using a Velcro strap for $5 on Amazon. Trust me you'll not regret it.All in all, AMAZING Headstrap upgrade for someone looking for good battery life extension, ease of battery swapping instantaneously, and doesn't mind spending an extra $5 and an extra 5 seconds adjusting the Velcro strap on the cog wheel Everytime you put your Headstrap on.

⭐⭐Must-Have Upgrade for Quest 3 Users⭐⭐
This BOBOVR S3 Pro strap is a total game-changer. The comfort is top-notch -it spreads the weight evenly so you don’t get that front-heavy pressure on your face. I can watch Netflix for hours without needing a break. The built-in fan is actually super useful The noise is noticeable during quieter intense movie and game scenes, but it can be turned down or off, if necessary. It keeps my head cool. But the real star here is the hot-swappable 10,000mAh battery. I can watch/play way longer without worrying about charging, and swapping the battery is quick and seamless - even mid-movie or mid-game.Everything feels solid and well-made, and setup was a breeze. If you’re serious about VR or just tired of short battery life and sore faces, this thing is worth every penny. Solid 5 stars from me.

Works great—cooling, comfort, and power in one
This BOBOVR S3 Pro strap is a fantastic upgrade for the Meta Quest 3 and 3S. The built-in cooling system keeps my head and the headset cooler during long sessions, and the 10,000mAh hot-swappable battery gives hours of extra playtime without adding too much weight. The strap is comfortable, easy to adjust, and feels much sturdier than the stock version. The magnetic battery swap is smooth and fast. Everything works exactly as expected—huge quality-of-life boost for any Quest user.Q&A Section:Q: How long does the 10,000mAh battery last?A: It adds around 4–6 extra hours of playtime depending on use.Q: Can you swap the battery mid-game?A: Yes, the magnetic battery is hot-swappable and doesn't interrupt gameplay.Q: Does the fan cooling system make noise?A: It’s very quiet—barely noticeable during play, but it helps reduce heat buildup.Q: Is it comfortable for long sessions?A: Yes, the head strap is well-padded and distributes weight evenly for comfort over time.

Extremely comfortable to ware
I ended up loving this thing. It's technically a halo style head strap But it sure doesn't have to feel like it.You can get any type of fit you want for the most part. like all the wait on your forhead no problemlike to rest it on your cheeks not an isue.Want the headset not to touch you at all got ya covered.with a little playing with the center pivots and the angle of the headset you can setup any kind of pressure or lack of pressure profile you want.lay'd back loose but wont just fall off while still being able to move your head around a good bit.All the way toIs this thing made to hold a water tight seal on my face preasure. you could headbang and it ant comming off.The battery system this comes with is verry nice and easy to use.comes with 1 but you want 2 if you play all day. With 2 batteries theres no way your dragging the headset down low enough to stop playing within a 24 hr period (swapping and charging the dead one)And thats just using the quest charger directly charging the battery pack not the super high speed charger.(note Remember you don't need 100% The last 15-20% of charge is slow low amp and probly only covers about 15minuts give or take a bit. no need to cram the pixes in tight :)and the battery can go from Whops i was so destracted by my game/friends i missed the beep saying the battery died Swap and charge to 3 solid and 1 blinking while you use your spare and swap again. The little fan does not look like much and youve gota have great ears to here it.But oh my god does that little bit of airflow make all the difference.Yes you can feel it on your forhead.Yes it can blow into the headset for defogging (unless you're running realy tight)and it unbelevibly cools you down.Experience not based on doing a workout while using it.
