JML Instant Noodle Artificial Spicy Hot Beef Flavor, Simple and Quick, Delicious and Abundant 5 pack

TL:DR: rich broth with firm noodles and a 6/10 spice that comes on the back end and does not punch you in the face.The noodles are packaged with care. They are thinner than the average instant noodle, but firmer. They absorbed the broth flavor nicely and added a slight thickening to the broth, adding to the richness.The veggie packet came with the basics. It seemed to be cabbage, carrots and onions with some herbs. They definitely added to the broth flavor, and we're not totally lost in the background. Some noodles add a veggie packet that seems to be there just so they can pretend to be healthy, these veggies actually added to the noodles and broth.The broth is full of flavor, they give you your broth, not as a powder, but as a paste, similar to Better than Bouillon. When it comes down to it, very few instant noodles manage to find ways to layer flavors, but this one does. You get a super rich broth that tastes close to homemade and the spice is actually provided by a nice spice blend that is more than just heat, it adds a level of flavor and doesn't kill your taste buds. The spice comes in a separate packet of powder, so you can adjust to your liking. I used the entire packet and it was not too spicy, about a 6/10. The spice is also something that builds, so you can actually enjoy the noodles without losing taste or sensation in your face, yet it is spicy enough that you would have to like spicy foods in order to enjoy the full spice packet.Overall, this ramen is now going to be a staple in our cupboard, a long side the Shin noodles as 1 of our top 5 instant noodles.Next time I will be adding some sliced steak and a poached egg to add some protein and an even larger flavor pop.As a side note, I make all my instant noodles with a small amount of butter at the end, unless noodles come with oil. Otherwise, I always review them plain, just as they come.

This one was a little too salty for me so I had to use half the seasoning pack. I prefer to dump all the packets in, instead of measuring them. The noodles are good, packaged well, delivered fine - just not my flavor. I will try their other flavors, but I wouldn't buy this one again.
