This helps me do my favorite eye look of all time.
Pink and yellow eyes are my absolute favorite to do, and this palette makes it super easy. If I can grab a picture sometime I'll update this review. But onto the talk about the product itself! For a drugstore palette, this is an AMAZING formula. The mattes aren't creamy persay, but they go on very easily. I've never had an issue of fallout with this formula, but I also tend to do most of my initial application with my (clean) fingers before blending with a fluffy brush. However, the few times I have applied it with a brush, it didn't give me any fallout. The trick is to just avoid scraping up the whole top of the shadow. Do some gentle dabbing into the color, and you should get plenty. The shimmery shades are absolutely wonderful too! They're not overly glittery, and don't tend to irritate my eyes at all (unless I rub too hard with my makeup remover and knock bits into my eye. That's a "me" problem). My favorite thing to do is take the gold shimmer and gently pat it under the center of my lower lash line - NOT in the waterline - to attract attention to my pupils and make my eyes seem bigger and brighter! The nudes are what make this a perfectly versatile palette. If you have a day where you need a lowkey look, it has you covered! Let me cover what I use each color most for.Nudes (Old Fashioned, Sugar Coated, and Sweet Tea): These colors make a beautiful nude eye. If you lean more on Old Fashioned, you can make it a borderline smoky eye - these colors are PIGMENTED. Sugar coded goes great as a center of the lid color to draw attention to your gaze.Bright colors (Ice Pop, Coral Punch, Lemonade Craze, Sunnies): These colors make up my favorite look. You can easily pop Ice Pop on your outer corner, Lemonade Craze on your inner side, and blend the two together with Coral Punch for a super fun and bright summery gradient! Sunnies goes great on your inner corner, and you can also apply it below your lash line for a bright pop that will make you look like you're smiling with your eyes.Accent colors (Main squeeze, Strawberry Lemonade, Citrus, Sugar Coated): Such beautiful shimmers! They'll really glam up your look without the overbearing weight of a full on glitter shadow. Don't underestimate them - they'll glitter a LOT, especially if you layer them up! My one gripe with these shades is that they tend to fall over my eyeliner, which takes away from the bold look. That's due to my eye shape though - my eyes are slightly hooded.Blenders (Sherbet, Sunnies, Berry Ice): These colors are great for fading out the edges of your shadows (if you have light skin), or acting as a transition blender. To use them as a blender, you need to apply a VERY small amount to your brush (I don't recommend trying it with your finger as it'll add too much) and use it to add some fluidity to your colors without needing a third full on transition shade.TLDR: An amazing palette for an amazing price. Quality formula for a drugstore budget! Amazing summery looks, and delicious shimmery shades to amp you up from day to night. :)

Palette is bomb! But needs a learning curve.
I really love this palette but it does come with a learning curve. Yes, the matte shades can be a little powdery, but I don't go digging into my palettes anyway. I'm always very gentle with them. The shimmer shades through the middle are nice and apply well. If using a brush, then spray your brush. I just use my finger. The two shimmer shades on the outside rows to me are more of a shadow topper. I dab Main Squeeze over Lemonade Craze and conversely use Citrus over Coral Punch. Gives a nice effect. Now when applying these matte colors use a shadow primer. One that blocks out skin color. I use Maybelline Age Rewind concealer. If you are a person of color, definitely use a light primer. Now here's the trick. DO NOT SET THE PRIMER/CONCEALER! Use the shadows straight onto the primer. Take your time and you will be rewarded. Blend slowly. A lot of people say the palette doesn't have good pigment, but it really does. You just have to jump through a few hoops with this palette. Overall, I love this palette and am thinking of purchasing a second one just in case it decides to disappear.

The top of the palette is pretty sheer, the bottom shades are much more pigmented
The media could not be loaded. I did some very amateur swatching on my arm just to get a idea on what shadows gave out the most pigment and which fell short. The top of the palette is pretty sheer, the bottom shades are much more pigmented. My "swatches" pictured were prepped (smashbox primer applied to skin 1st / swatches done with clean brushes) I took a video to showcase my two favorite shades in the palette: Sugar Coated (Left) Citrus (Right)First impressions right off were that the formula surprised me. I didn't think any of these were bad or chalky. In my opinion they are pretty decent. Pigmentation award goes to the shade "sugar coated" I have owned MANY high end and even luxury eyeshadow palettes, this shade is right up there with shades that typically come with a pretty high pricetag even as a single shadow, let alone included in a entire pricey palette.I also included a photo of the really simple look I played with that I would absolutely wear for an everyday look. At first glance this palette could come off as not wearable but in reality all the shades are clean and precise, they blend well, and while there is some fallout (you can even see some product that literally fell out onto my lashes) it's nothing major or messy. It's been a week and I am not reaching for this palette ever nothing stands out about it that is amazing, I feel like it is also necessary to have the lids prepped with primer and use a makeup spray to get the most performance out of the shimmery shades.in conclusion I am happy with this eyeshadow palette. On the subject of scent: it is barely noticeable, you really have to get your nose in there to get even the hint of citrus/lemon like scent. Who's going to smell your eyelids anyway? Don't answer that.I would definitely pre-order makeup on Amazon again. I think it's neat getting your hands on something that not many other people have access to right away. I gave this palette an entire star based on that alone.
