I’ve had a ring doorbell for many years. Now, especially in the winter struggles to hold its charge. Have to take it out and have no doorbell while it charges and it takes several hours. This means the camera does not pick up who is visiting my door and I cannot use the doorbell to speak to them. This is going to make that much much easier to manage as I can swatch a charge battery for an empty one as soon as it gets low. I’ve always got a spare that’s got charging. Well price and feels really good quality and works great in my ring doorbell.

The charger and batteries work. The LED indicators let you know what state the battery is in and when they have finished charging.It is very convenient having a dock that can charge both btteries and be able to keep one ready to do an easy swap when the other runs out.However I ordered this as I have the Ring Video Doorbell Gen 2. And the listing states this is compatible with Video Doorbell 2, 3, 3Plus and 4.But my doorbell does not have any means to remove the battery. So this rechargeable battery set is apparently not for my ring video doorbell!! Seriously what?This is not the sellers fault. I can google and find some older video doorbells which are referenced as video doorbell 2 but they are from several years ago and no longer avaiable but they are definitely different from ring video doorbell Gen 2. But they both have the number 2 in their name.So buyer please be aware of exactly what model you have and whether you need battery packs or you end up making the same mistake I did becasue of Ring's stupid naming conventions.Other than that, this is a good bit of kit so you are never left wihtout a working doorbell becuase battery has run out and needs time to charge

I have Ring cameras and if there is one problem with them it's the batteries tend to drain rather quickly so its useful to have one on charge to quickly change over. We have 2 cameras and the batteries are also getting old, having been charged/discharged a lot.These look identical to the originals. As such fit perfectly and just work as they should. The dual charging stations works well, the 2 lights indicate the state of charging separately for the 2 batteries. The charger is supplied with a USB micro cable but I already had one as usually I plug the batteries directly into a USB port.Price wise, less than original replacements and you get the convenient charger. Plus at the time of review there is a discount voucher.Really pleased and worth consideration.

With the improvements in functionality of the ring doorbell using more and more power the time between battery changes has got shorter and shorter which is why I jumped at this set. The set contains two ring compatible batteries and a micro USB powered dock including cable. The battery can be charged in the dock or out making it versatile and so much easier to deal with. I did find that the fit was a bit tight in the ring doorbell 4 we have but it did fit and work as advertised making this good value for money
