Langholm Design "Sow and Piglets" Bronzed Ornamen

Initially just a little disappointed with this. Its a real fun ornament and is quite carefully and finely modeled. Just the right level of detail- however mine was a little more black than I would want, and not nearly as bronzed as the photo would suggest, although there is a warning that the colour varies. What I did find was that if you rub this gently with a soft cloth, the bronze colouration begins to come through. Quite a lot of the black colour rubs off on the cloth. I shall give this a gentle rub every day and see if I can bring the bronze colouration up a bit. You have got to be a little bit careful iwht your rubbing, because on the side of the Sow, it now looks a little grey/black now rather than bronze. But having said that, I really like this pig. I had a good look through Amazon and saw nothing that I can put on my trading desk (dont ask why- actually you can probably work out why) except this sow and pigs.Its nice. I shall continue to judiciously rub, might bring me luck
