Love my like new fire pit now that’s it’s not completely rusted!
We had a outdoor fire pit that was covered in rust, but we loved using it. I accidentally purchased the silver here (I meant to get black...my fault), so I ran to the big box store and bought the color that I needed. I also bought rustoleum rust remover and a steel brush to help clean the surfaces before painting. I ended up using 2 full cans to paint the pit and cover, but it looks beautiful. My tip is to spend the extra time prepping/cleaning the area before painting. There are a couple of spots near the bottom that still had gook on them, and just painting over it isn’t an appealing look. Fortunately those spots are on the bottom, so no one but me knows they are there. Also, make sure you wear gloves. The paint does leak a little from the sprayer. When I started, I didn’t have gloves on, and it took some good scrubbing for a couple of days to get it completely off.

From Outdated to Updated!
My old oven and range hood work great...but, needed a face lift. It was outdated almond color with several rusted spots. So, I decided to try this spray paint option. WOW!!! This took my appliance to a whole new level for pennies on the dollar and only a few hours' of work! Provided super coverage. Looks like stainless steel. Just be aware that the fumes are heavy and minute dusting particles of paint do travel. I recommend: Opening all windows; turn off A/C or Heat to have nothing blowing in the room; cover everything with sheets/plastic sheeting/drop cloths. I can't speak to the durability, since I've only just applied the paint.

Good finish but not the most durable
I've used both the black and silver sprays. Black on a motorcycle exhaust and silver for headers, downpipe, and catalytic converter on a car. Both finishes look great. You wouldn't confuse the silver for bare metal, but it looks similar to silver painted wheels. Even with proper curing the only major issue is durability. The silver scratched on the smooth concrete in my garage when reinstalling the header and downpipe. The black has small nicks from rocks and road debris, since the exhaust comes out of the motorcycle engine right behind the front tire and runs underneath the frame.

So far so happy :)
Honestly since it's summer I haven't used them on heat, so I don't know yet. But it's very easy to use. The only thing, you gotta make sure you move everything next to the item that will get painted. Bc spray flies and leaves sparkles on other things (furnitures or fabrics). It smells strong, please wear a mask and leave the windows open. I like the color, it's sparkle little bit. I am happy so far. I will update if I will have any issues with the heat.
