13 Gallon Trash Bags
This is great, it is heavy duty and doesn't tear coming off the role, nor does it tear when tying it up once full. The 1.3? gallon size is just way too thin and tears coming off the role and tears when tying it up when it is full. But I really like this larger size, and will continue to purchase them. I like that they are compostable...

Perfect
A simple way to help the environment. Band is a little tight to put on the trash can but it is doable. Bags seem to hold up. I try not to put liquids in the bags to prevent speed up of the decomposing of the bag till trash day.

Sturdy Bags
These worked great. We had no rips or tears. Would buy again.

Compostable but not sure strong
I love that this product makes me feel good about doing better not using plastic but you have to get out of habit thinking it will hold a lot. They leak/fall apart when heavy items placed in it. So don’t plan on stuffing your trash full like those old plastic bags. Nothing added to help deter trash odors either.

Guilt-free Trash Bags
These bags are a perfect alternative to plastic bags. They’re stronger than the first of this type to be developed and does not rip open when unpacked. They’re compostable! They help in our efforts to reduce plastic pollution of the planet.

I wanted to love them and put them on a subscription......
I wanted to love these bags!! I will not be ordering anymore. Every single one has torn and trash spills out. I have been very careful not to overfill or push down as I usually would. They are very flimsy......absolutely no point in having to put them into a separate plastic bag in order to throw away without spilling the contents everywhere.

Want to love, but there are some drawbacks…
I have moved our family to using compostable zip bags for food and sandwiches, and that has been great! I wanted to try to move our family over to using compostable trash bags, too, so I tried these. I initially thought they were fantastic, though I did notice that they were easily punctured by my thumb or fingers as I tried to pull the full bag out of the trash can, but it could be done if I was gentle and careful. I think the bags are fine, but that they definitely require the whole family to learn how to use them properly. For example, if using these bags, we can no longer stuff the garbage can super full as with plastic bags, because too much force as you pull it out of the can will cause it to tear. So first lesson - put less trash in the bag, and BE CAREFUL as you pull it out of the can.But the more important lesson to learn is about what you put in the trash to begin with. I think these bags will work fine for a family that removes liquids and wet things and composts food stuff separately from regular trash. My family refuses to adopt this lesson, and my husband pulled the plug on this endeavor when he was taking the trash out one day only to have it disintegrate in the middle of the driveway on his way to the bin. This happened because 1. people had placed wet items in the bag days before, and 2. people had over filled the bag due to not adopting the first lesson mentioned above. He was VERY unhappy cleaning up the trash mess on the driveway, especially because he was in the middle of a work-call at the time.SO, in the end, until our family can adopt both lessons explained above, these bags will not be used in our household. 😟 I have hope, though, that I will slowly convert our family over to following the lessons above and THEN I will reintroduce the compostable trash bags.
