Love Motorola
I have been feeling like I needed a new phone and was coming from a Motorola Moto G 5G (2022) model. Because I had such a good experience with it, I wanted to stick with Motorola having came from OnePlus prior. The Motorola Moto G Power 5G (2025) is simply amazing. It was a noticable upgrade being faster and sleeker looking. It has an amazing front and rear camera and the photos have looked great. It has plenty of space at 128GB with optional added storage with an SDcard and 8GB of RAM plus 4GB for ram boost. It still has a head phone jack which is perfect because I still have a tape player in my van so I hook my phone up to it with one of those aux to tape set ups and then I can listen to my music while on a long trip from my phone. The best thing I love about Motorola is their UI which is as close to Vanilla Android as you'll get unless you were to grab a Pixel of course. So it functions much closer to how Google intended without all the extra bloat *cough* Samsung *cough*.The phone did not come with a charger though which I suppose can be a con but many will have an USB C adapter already. I was using my original 10W adapter from my previous Motorola until I ordered the Motorola 30W adapter as this 2025 version can "Turbo Power" charge at 30W which has been amazing. The phone charges in no time but also the battery lasts an entire day with ease. My OnePlus Nord N10 I used to have would drain the battery so bad it would barely make it half day. Which is why I originally moved back to Motorola. The screen is slightly larger than the 2022 Moto G 5G and can do both 60 and 120Hz refresh rate. Also the screen can be very bright! I usually keep auto brightness off and at night lower the brightness almost all the way to the left and it still pretty bright and during the day in sunlight, the screen is still legible with the brightness turned up.The best feature for me that was missing on the 2022 version is NFC. Now with my new Motorola G Power 5G, I have NFC support which allows me to easily use Google Wallet for tap pay at stores!Oh and the Midnight Grey color is absolutely gorgeous and makes the phone feel even more premium without the premium price tag.So if your looking for an easy to use and premium looking Android phone that is close to a vanilla experience like Pixel without the premium price, I can't recommend this phone enough!Motorola has been amazing and definitely will be my Android choice from now on.

Amazing
Awesome phone for the price! It runs smoothly, has a big clear screen, and the battery lasts all day. Perfect for basic use, social media, and calls. Very reliable and user-friendly.

Can't Wait For The Update
I purchased this to replace a 3-4 year old Samsung S21 Ultra because Samsung throttled back updates, perhaps to force sales of the S 25? This Motorola looked pretty good on paper, coming with a lot of RAM, ram boost and over 100 G of internal storage as well as a SD card slot and wireless charging. The cameras offered more MP than my S21 Ultra, plus some AI. What's not to like? Problems set in when I moved all the apps and data to the 5G. Some of the apps advised that they needed to be upgraded to run properly on Android 15. Other apps malfunctioned. The 500 GB SD card frequently vanished, requiring a restart of the phone to find it again. You can't install apps to the SD card, only photos, videos, music, docs. I used a dual pane file manager to attempt to move videos and music to the SD card manually only to be advised that this was not allowed. I suspect that the file manager isn't compatible with Android 15 or the phone doesn't like the SD card? And when I asked Amazon music to download purchased music to the SD card, repeatedly, it didn't happen. No error message, just not there. The cameras are OK under strong lighting conditions. The very best thing about this device is the "radio." By this I'm speaking of the circuits that communicate with cell towers. Our family has a home out in the woods. The last phone I owned which worked reliably there was a a "bag phone" in my car. This phone is world unlocked, may work on frequencies other phones don't, but voice, data work in this local where daylight has to be piped in. That made it worth the low price of admission. I suspect that app updates and firmware updates will make this phone far less of a hassle. As is, it's certainly worth the price.
