This Tea needle has some nice heft to it. It was overall bigger than I had imagined but I like it! Initially I thought maybe there was an error because it appeared to only be the brush. After putting some muscle behind twisting it at the brass ring, it finally released...and spewed what I can only assume is dried glue all over the counter. I like the size and shape of the needle. I have not actually attempted to loosen some Puehr yet but its shape tells me it should work quite well. You do get what you pay for....It came in a cheap cardboard (think fireworks boxes) container. The needle itself is not high end metal, I don't know what it is made of. The brass band separating the two pieces is old and dingy looking and probably in reality is not actually brass. The edges of this band are also sharp feeling and I can assume if I'm not careful there is potential for a skin cut. I wish I knew how to care for the brush end....there were no instructions and I will have to go back and look to see if the description says what the brush hairs are....natural or synthetic, I don't remember. On a bright note, I really like the wood handle and it is smooth and well finished. Generally I like to purchase for beauty as well as function but overall I am happy with this tea needle.Edit to add: I used this today and it works very well! I polished the brass and now the whole piece looks quite beautiful!

It is a sturdy tool but it does not match the listing pictures, seems rusty on the handle.

Great quality. Definitely sturdy. Perfect shaped point for even the toughest tea cakes. The wood is beautiful and smooth. The brush is very soft and none of the hairs have fallen out. Bottom line: love it.

Beautiful design and I love the brush portion. Handles may be a bit loose when you receive them, but for the price, this isn't bad.

Works as discribred- easy to use. Also does not take much space in my gadget drawer.

Really nice product was very happy when I saw the item in person it's a beautiful brush and love how it doubles as a pu'erh pick the hairs on the brush have a beautiful shine and how wood is high quality for the price I'm very satisfied and would definitely recommend

I bought this for Pu-erh tea. I'm not exactly sure what the fine hair brush is for, but the knife itself is solidly constructed with a very nice wooden handle.Well made, attractive, and worth the extra few bucks, I'm glad I bought it.
