Who needs to spend a bunch of money on those high-end signal devices when you can simply attach this to your tank and gently pull on the plastic knob to make a nice 'clank' noise to get your dive parter's attention- Available in assorted colors.

It's a banger and well it bangs
I should write out some long drawn out review of how soo stretchy it is, or how the gong part makes a massive underwater gong that anyone can hear for miles around, or the color is so amazing in its off greyish/blackish... But really its a tank banger, that bangs tanks, when you bang it. So i got what i paid for.

Low Tech - Old School - Works Fine
Simple, cheap, useful. There are lots of other types of devices for the same purpose that all cost more and don't do any/much better. If you don;t like reaching behind you, want something louder or don't mind junk hanging off your BC or filling its pockets, there are other options. This is the cheapest and simplest. For me, that is the best, even if you have to move it tank to tank. Or just buy two for your swapped tanks, if you are live-aboard diving.

Very quite
I was expecting this to make a load bang and it was quite a disappointment. Even when I pulled as hard as I could and let it go against the tank it barely made a noise. I was expecting the noise and I could barely hear it so the unsuspecting divers that I was with had no chance of hearing it. The reason I got this was to be able to signal/ get the attention of other divers and this does not to that.

It is a tank banger...
My wife wanted one of these. We are SCUBA divers and she wanted it to signal me. It does what it is supposed to do and is made as expected. I have a hearing loss from my years in the Army so I don't hear it most of the time so it does not get the job done. The product is OK but they are not a good solution in my case.

Strap broke on 10th use
Simple and it works, until it doesnt. Luckily I dive with backup noise makers, otherwise it would have been inconvenient and a little dangerous to not be able to easily signal my dive buddy...If you buy this, get a few extras and carry something else for when the strap breaks - they aren't very durable.

It does the job, but not as loud as expected.
We used these on our last dive trip. You need to put it ON the tank before you put your BCD/Regulator on. It's not as loud as I was expecting so might purchase a metal one next time. This was a hard black ball made of plastic. It went over the tank easily and stayed in place on all 15 dives we did in Cozumel last month.

Useful noise maker!
These tank bangers are a handy way to get the attention of your dive buddy. The rubber band is durable, and lightweight. Just remember to put the noise maker part somewhere you can actually reach! 😉

Simple and Effective
Simple to use and can be effective. Despite the fact that sound travels 4.5x faster in water, it does seem that you need a pretty good pull back to get much sound out of it (it also depends on how far away you need to communicate). Maybe not as good as a pointer, but easy to use and not something that you have to leash or carry (bonus).
