I read that it needs to be applied to the fleshy parts -** A: I have been using Flexiseq since seeing an article on it in a daily newspaper early in 2014. I have arthritis in the middle finger joints on both hands, known as Bouchard's nodes. I have reduced the dose to once a day (before bed); and I now sometimes miss a day. I am sure that I now have less pain in almost all my fingers. Two on my right hand are too damaged to expect this product to help. As another reviewer mentioned I also have less pain ( if any ) when I wake in the morning. At night, when you are not aware of how you are positioning you hands, prior to using Flexiseq I would wake with pain in both hands. I am right handed and the biggest improvement has been in my left hand, the one with the least joint damage. I think that had I started using this earlier ( say 10 years ago ) then I would have slowed the progress of the joint damage. I hope this helps, it's not a miracle cure just a way to reduce and slow the damaged to the joints.
