Silver Reflective Window Film (Solar Control & Privacy Tint - One Way Mirror / Mirrored Glass) (100cm x 3 metres)

I purchased this (and other sizes) to make my conservatory usable. Although it is a bit of an art to put it up, once you get into the swing of it with lots of washing up water sprayed, an able assistant and a window squidgy used, it goes up really well. A word of warning.. once the backing is off, if you are using a large length, make sure that the sticky side does not stick to itself... it is impossible to get apart and will have to be chucked. I have now done every window and my conservatory is now a lovely temperature and I can use it again and it gives me a little more privacy as my neighbors can no longer see my washing drying on the airers! The conservatory is, however a little darker, but I really don't mind that at all, makes it more cosy. As far as I'm concerned this is money well spent... I have use of my conservatory in the hottest weather!

Great product does what it says. I didn't find it to easy to put up. Followed the instructions to the letter on putting up the sixth window found it was better just to dampen the window. That worked great.

This is a brill product only down fall I have found is that it is great in daylight but at night people can see through which was very disappointing

it works well for heat and light reduction, but is hard to install without bubbling.

I'm very happy with it. Provided the instructions are followed, it is very easy to put on windows and works a treat. Baby shampoo in water spray is a must as it creates a good slip. One tip I'd give to avoid major frustration and possibly throwing the towel in, is when detaching the backing from the film, place a piece of sellotape at the corner of the backing sheet and the film will easily tease away.

Besides the fact that this item was delivered in good time, the actual film does its job rather well of obscuring your room. It does that with a minimal loss of light and that to me was quite important and was something I was worried about. Thank goodness it turned out to be fine. In other words,for a minimal loss of light,I gained total privacy. If that is what you're after,then go for it without hesitation.The installation is quite straightforward. Relatively easy to put up with a helper. I used washing up liquid and water to first wash then wet the windows to ease fitting. Though some small bubbles are inevitable, even with a lot of reapplying and squeegeeing (is that even a word?).My gripe is that the film is not as reflective as the product pictures imply. I can still see my curtains through the film even during today's bright sunlight.
