Citristrip Paint & Varnish Stripping Gel – Citrus Scent (1 Quart)
The Citristrip Paint & Varnish Stripping Gel is a popular choice for DIYers and professionals looking for an effective and safer way to remove old paint, varnish, or lacquer from wood, metal, and masonry surfaces. What sets it apart is its citrus scent and low fume formula, making it more pleasant to work with indoors compared to traditional harsh strippers. This gel formula clings well to surfaces, allowing it to stay in place longer and penetrate multiple layers of finish. It works best when left on for several hours or even overnight, depending on the project. The product is also thick enough to apply easily with a brush and doesn’t run or drip much.Pros:• No harsh fumes — great for indoor use• Pleasant citrus scent• Effective on multiple layers of paint/varnish• Gel consistency clings to surfaces wellCons:• Requires longer wait time for deep stripping• May need more than one application for thick or old coatingsRating: 4.6/5

Strips paint and stain easily
Works amazing! Stripped off an old wood table caked in layers of paint and stain! Highly recommend. Super easy to use and literally melted off the paint.

Gets the job done
This product worked pretty good. I would definitely let it sit for longer than the minimum time. It didn’t work very well. Just after sitting for an hour. Definitely very messy and sticky. Overall did the job. My only other complaint is that the bottle was super super sticky when we took it out of the box it was delivered in, although there were no visible leaks.

Works great
The media could not be loaded. Works really well! APPLY A LOT!!!! Don't skimp or do thin layers or it won't work. I did a nice thick coat and within 30 mins I was able to scrape it off. Some areas needed a second coat but it's so much easier than sanding. Extra gel wipes off and I used GooGone for any other sticky areas or clumps of paint. The smell isn't bad but in a smaller indoor area it was a bit overwhelming.

HAPPY!!!! IT WORKED!!!
Just used this on my dinning room table after 20 years. I am very happy with the outcome. The table actually come out looking a lot better (RUSTIC) than i imagined. It took some muscles and some "elbow grease" to get all the varnish/stain out (about 3 days). But the outcome was PERFECT. It has a smell to it. Maybe I have sensitive nose, unlike other people who say it's "odorless". Also, I had to pick-up a 2nd bottle (quart) from another local vendor because the sellers on AMZN would not deliver the smaller bottle (which I had previously ordered and delivered thru AMZN) to my location......Did something change? Ok to deliver the bigger bottle, but not the smaller bottle? VERY STRANGE.

The orange that peeled.
There's a misconception that this product does not work.Just make sure when you apply it, be mildly sloppy with it in terms of how you distribute it. Make sure the air has no availability, so use a trash bag to compliment the products suppression with what you're trying to remove. Here with my Aluminum frame, powder coat. I simply split a nice 33 gal trash bag. Let it sit for about 6 hours; which could have been done quite sooner but that's what I decided. Melted off like cheese.
