Love this thing works great

Cute, but after about a week it filled with water and sank to the bottom, bleaching the pool as it sat down there and let out chlorine (I didn’t know it had sunk). Now we have a 2 foot by 2 foot white blob of a chlorine bleach stain permanently on our pool’s floor.

Super upset with this product! It worked great for about a month then I kept having a hard time keep it a float because water kept getting in the top part. Finally it completely sank to the bottom and the chlorine tablets inside of course bleach the bottom of my pool.

We were in denial, thinking maybe she was just “taking a break” or “doing a deep dive.” But the truth was unavoidable: Francine was sinking because of a faulty seal—a flaw many other reviewers had pointed out (in reviews we clearly didn’t bother to read).Now, Francine resides permanently at the bottom of the hot tub, like an ancient relic of fun times past. She still dispenses chlorine, but the magic is gone. The jet races are over, and the rave pools have gone silent. We still love her, but it’s a somber love, tinged with the memory of her glory days.So, if you’re considering adopting an octopus chlorine dispenser like Francine, be warned: she may bring unparalleled joy and vibes to your hot tub, but be prepared for the possibility of a watery demise. Francine, you’ll always be our queen of chlorine, even from the depths.

I emailed the seller to report that it stopped floating, and they refunded my money, although I was outside the return window.
