Q: Does the manual explain how to connect to my gate? My old gate opener is dead

If you open the old gate opener you will see some small plastic “pins” that can move up and down. They set the code for the gate opener. You need to put the pins in the same position as the dead gate opener (up or down in the same order) in the new opener and then it should work.

Q: How do you open the new opener case?

There is a very small Philips head screw on the back. So a small Philips head screwdriver will work.

Q: Does this remote come with a sunvisor clip

Yes. Two small remotes with two visor clips batteries included. Work great

You have to set the pins in the same position as the old one and make sure the battery is charged. I had to return one that had a dead battery.
