Green!
It's amazing to think we have moved so far from harmful plastic to bamboo. These bowls are the perfect size for anything from breakfast cereal to soup, to pasta to fruit. They are leak proof and extremely sturdy. Last night we all had fresh pineapple cut into chunks for a night snack watching March madness. This morning, I picked up 2 bowls with some fruit left and juice in the bowls and they were sitting on a table and there was not a leak or moist spot. I have a big household and I rely heavily on all things disposable but I did have some guilt using plastic. These bowls are green and it makes me a whole lot better throwing them away. These are a way better value than your big box store or supermarket paper bowls because they are very sturdy. Sometimes I had to double up the paper bowls especially when I had hot items in them. I actually reused a bowl twice and there was no problem. I put some water in one and put it in the deck for my pets. I used it 2 days in a row. I used a few bamboo products by now and I really think that's the way I'm gonna shop for disposable items from now on. I know bamboo is very strong and plentiful so the fact that a lot of things from sheets, towels to plates and bowls are being made from it is wonderful. If you're having a party, these would be perfect as they would not bend or leak on your furniture or guests.

Convenient but ethical
I admit it; I like to use paper products. The convenience can't be beat. Busy households are always looking for shortcuts, and being able to throw away the dishes can't be beat. I always feel a little guilty, though. What a thrill that compostable paper dishes came on the scene! Totally guiltless. These bowls are great, excellent quality. (And they break down in the environment.) They're really sturdy and will hold stews and liquids like soup and cereal with milk. Ice cream! And you can stick them in the microwave. I don't use paper everyday, but I'm happy that compostable dishes are an option when I'm in a hurry. Recommended.

Dry bowls
The bowls are too dry and absorb everything

Love These Bowls
So sturdy, so durable, hold liquids well for a long period of time. Microwavable, and I have even put leftovers in the fridge with them. All that and they are environmentally safe. I think they are fairly priced and I have the plates as well, which I also recommend.

Nice throw away bowls
These work just fine for liquids such as soup or cereal provided they aren’t left to sit for a long period. It’s nice having a non-plastic or styrofoam alternative.
