Nicely structured and well illustrated
Ableton is a huge program and for me, this book gets the balance of content just right. Some entry level books on technical subjects treat the readers as though they've never used a computer... and maybe do so to evade that they really seem to know little of their subject beyond what might be in a quick guide. This is not one of those books, it is informative and extremely well illustrated. I am very pleased with it.

Could be in more simplified language.

Great read even for advanced users.
It wasn’t super in-depth but that’s exactly what I wanted. It’s gives you an overview of the program. Moving from logic to Ableton was made slightly less confusing by this hand book. I really like the top tips. At £6 it’s basically free. Why are you still reading this review? just buy it..

Excellent Colour Screenshots..!
A Great Book very helpful with Full Colour Screenshots. Just what a beginner needs to get started and find your way around what looks like very complicated software with relative ease.

Pocket book.
Portability is its main strength. Something to read on the bus etc.Basic as the title says.

Not a book for beginners.
I totally disagree with the title that it's "expert advice made easy. " The author is not good at explaining the subject to beginners.

Helpful Reference Guide
I don't think there's a book out there that is going to step you through how to use any DAW. Ableton is known to be the most user friendly DAW. I'm taking a class, which helps immensely, and then when takinga class, this is a good reference book.
