This item was at best, when it actually worked, was just ok. The glare on this thing was atrocious. After a couple of hot summer days, this thing gave out. I thought it was the wiring, but it magically started working again for a couple of days and finally gave out. I left it on for another couple of months hoping it would start working again but it never did. I finally took it off and settled for a wide-angle mirror. It was fun while it lasted, but it didn't last too long at all.

The blue mirror darkens the picture on the screen. So, don't be surprised that the picture is darker than the photo on the web.

I had this installed by my trusty local Best Buy installer in my Fiat 500 Abarth.It's large and has a clear, daylight-visible display.When the display is off it acts as a rear-view mirror. I was surprised to discover that the mirror function of this display works better than the "real" mirror that came with my car!The mirror is clear and HUGE with very good definition, but not so large that it blocks my forward view.I'm pleased with the build quality, too. No creaking or warping when I push the buttons.I also like that I can turn the display on any time by pushing the power button, not just when the car is in reverse. This allows me to check behind my car before engaging reverse at night.Buyer beware: I took off one star because there's a little signal filter box in line between the display and the camera that has a fuse in it. My installer discovered that the fuse was faulty and replaced it. I'm lucky this guy is basically a car install genius because most guys would have just said "it's broken, go buy another one." So check that if the display doesn't power on when connected to power.

I bought the same thing (RM102) from walmart.The manual says it is a 800x256xRGB. Here it is described as 1024 x 480 so it is false advertised. I can get 800x256 for way less.Also, I wish it had auto-dim. It is just too bright at night. It doesn't have auto turn-on so I have to press the button once every time.This thing is not five star.MANUFACTURER,1. Install an auto dim sensor to auto dim for night driving OR, less preferrably add a DAY/NIGHT mode button so we can manually switch.2. Add a setting so that, when car ignition is on, it turns on, or stay off, or last state.3. Put backlight on the button so that we can find the button to press.

We sold these in our store....and they are awesome. I wish I could get more
