unlike description says it turns off when it reaches the set pressure you set it to , THERE IS NO WAY TO SET PRESSURE ....Besides no preset it does work well and does a great job of filling my airacuda in about 5 minutes

The pcp air compressor is of sound design and workmanship. I use it to fill my Air Venturi carbon fiber air bottle. Set the psi desired and shuts off automatically. Auto shut off if compressor gets to hot. Comes with 12 volt setting and 12 volt battery clips and wiring. VERY easy to use and has good directions to use compressor. Very portable and fills my Air Venturi air tank in about 18 to 20 minutes and a direct fill to my air gun reservoir in about5 minutes or less. I use to use a good three stage manual pump as it is good exercise but would rather spend that time I was pumping into shooting time. DrDave. Utah

Arrived in good shape, filled my 500cc tank in 12 minutes from 1,500 psi to 4,300 where I set the fill. It is surprisingly quiet actually quieter than both my others GX-C3 an the VELVOR unit. Excellent price.

Hello!We spent most of Memorial Day afternoon underwater thanks to our PCP Air Compressor and pony bottle tanks. The compressor was a little loud but in 10 minutes it had compressed a couple hundred pounds of air and filled our tanks for our short dives. It had a preset pressure fill gage with a working auto shut-off which worked well to be sure that we did not overfill our tanks. Came with AC and DC options. Great Portability. Not light, but not super heavy. Came with the adapter we needed to fill our pony bottles.

total junk. wouldn't make full pressure now it makes no pressure. used once. tried the maintenance rebuild manual and the parts and manual were not even the same as the internal parts. zero stars.

This compressor seems to be a very nice unit, very well packaged and arrived with no damage. I plugged it in and it is less noisy then I thought it would be. That's not to say that it's quiet, but just not as loud as I expected. The description indicates that you can select the pressure that you want this to shut off at, however I could not find any means which would allow you to set the pressure. Normally there is a dial on the pressure gauge that will allow you to dial to your selected pressure and once the compressor reaches that pressure it will shut off automatically but as you can see from my picture there is no dial on this gauge. Also the picturess in the description shows there is no dial on the gauge, so I believe when the description says that this is an automatic shut off, I think they are referring to the fact that it will shut off automatically when the compressor reaches a certain temperature. I am returning this unit but purchasing a slightly larger unit from the same company that definitely does have the automatic shut off on the gauge. Because of how well this unit was packaged and how well it seemed to run I feel confident in buying another one from the same company.
