Wow this has to be the cheapest built item I've bought so far and made in China.Extremely over priced, even at half the listed price it is still expensive. Very dissatisfied. Suction pads are pathetic and do not stay in place and just fall off , this is partly due to poor design also the net that covers and acts as a boundary prevents the suction pads from attaching sufficiently AND traps the fish until they dieLOOK ELSEWHERE OR BE DISAPPOINTED!!Refund refund refund

I've tried a couple of beeder enclosures from plastic floating ones (end up sinking) to hang on the side (can't close the lid) so when I spotted this I had to give it a go.It's a bit flimsy but once the net is applied it holds it all together nicely. The suckers attach over the net so add a bit more stability. They stick well - you get six and the structure is lightweight so doesn't need much anchorage.It's quite large too compared to the Perspex ones mentioned earlier. The photo I've posted shows it in my 2 foot breeder tank.It would also make a good quarantine container due to the size.The netting is fine enough to prevent even the smallest of fry getting into the main tank, which can be an issue for some of the others I have tried that have slots in the side.The base divider can be raised or lowered to allow more room for the fry or the parent fish (depending on your choice.)There is also a divider for splitting the parent fish up if you have more than one.All in all a good (cheap - I like cheap) solution.

This is a good size, ideal for a larger tank, plenty of room for both mother and baby fish, this can also be divided into two sections, I’ve had two issues with this and they are the suction cups didn’t stick in place and I lost a fry, the second issue was the plate that sits on the corner bars kept slipping down, I sort this by use of four small plastic tube and this has helped a great deal, I contacted the seller over the suction cups who tried to get me replacement suction cups, but due to not being able to do this they sent me a replacement item from which the suction cups have worked very well and have kept the trap in place, the problem with the replacement trap it was not as good as the original as the colour was a very dirty white and still had a lot of the plastic pieces that should have been removed, so all in all I used the original trap with the suctions cups from the replacement, seller was very helpful and supportive and easy to deal with.

This item is absolutely rubbish looks cheap and nasty I would normally send this back but can't. Be careful buyers when buying a nest for your babies avoid this item. Very easy to break and the segregated plastic wall is woeful my fish swim into the other compartment .Waste of money

This fish breeder has partitions to stop the parent from reaching fry. I have only used this with Guppies and I found that the parent was able to move around all the partitions by squeezing around the net. This hatchery is ok when partitions were taken out and just used as a fry holder. John

I would definitely recommend getting this,The packaging bad instructions on the back and once easily made fits nicely in a big tank, the suction cups came undone once but I think that was my fault for not checking I had them all on but now I secured it it stays perfectly.When putting it together the horizontal divider kept falling down but once it in the water it stayed up niceoh so don’t worry about that if that happens.Hope this was helpful and overall great quality and material. :)

It shows in the picture a divider ! I did not get one!Suction is not that great , when it came off it sinks to the bottomLuckily only had a platy in it!Would not suit guppy and platy babies the holes are too big ! I brought it to seperate a sick fish !

Easy asembly even with no instruction included, came the next day and was not a min too late as the fish dropped her fry few hours after delivery, bigger than was expecting and I took the decoder away as the two pregnant fish managed to jump it to be together.
