Great, reliable sights!
Holosun red (and green) dot sights rock! The shake awake and auto shut off are amazing features. I’m not clear on the benefit of the solar cells, they seem to me to be unnecessary complications. To date none of my Holosun sights have failed which I cannot say for some cheaper competing products.

Top notch Optic
I have owned this little optic for about a year now. First on a rifle but now resides in my home defense shotgun. I have found this to be a tough well made optic that holds zero even through punishing recoil of a shotgun. I have had zero issues with the QD mount attaching to the picc rail of my firearm and once there it is rock solid. The reticle is crisp and clear even with aging eyes. The adjustments in illumination level is easy and is palpably visible. There is some blurring on the highest level, but this in no way makes the optic unusable at this level. The sighting adjustments are a little mushy, but you can feel each click. I was able to Ranger Wrap my 510c to match my A 300 and that was like icing on the cake for this tough little guy. One drawback is that it has an open emitter that could become dirty or occluded. After several range trips in dry dusty conditions, I have yet to experience a failure in function. This optic is a solid addition that you can depend on plus your wife won't kick you out after purchasing it!!

Best quality optic for the money
I waited almost a year after buying this to do a long-term review. To all the haters who told me I NEED to buy a top-tier optic like an Aimpoint or an Eotech and this isn't reliable, I can honestly say this optic is very sturdy and reliable.I've ran this in several competitions now, it's been thrown around in the back of a truck, been drenched in water, and been attached to a carbine with almost a thousand rounds of recoil and it has held zero and still as reliable as day one. I can hit 1/3rd ipsc targets at 100 yards without any problems, and I'm not exactly good. Granted, I don't abuse my equipment all that much, I'm not going to be taking this thing to war or running over it with a truck just to prove a point, but for 99% of "normal" applications this thing is rock solid.I shopped around a lot before buying this, compared against other brands, I get less "star burst" with my astigmatism compared to other brands of red dots (specifically the Sig branded ones are bad for my eyes), the optic is clear and the illumination is plenty bright for bright outdoor conditions with plenty of brightness settings for any situation (fwiw, the Vortex optics IMO don't have enough brightness settings, and don't get quite bright enough for direct sunlight, but an etched reticle can fix that problem).Holosun is the real deal. I might buy another one soon.

Great value
Great optic, crisp dot even with my astigmatism.

Great 'red' dot for Benelli M4
It has been through about 370 rounds (About 250 were bird load) in 2 days. This HE510C-GR is great overall sight. Easy to use, easy to quick mount/QD (If it ever fails). It has an Eotech style reticle which is very crisp and clear; I'm settled with the 65MOA circle only for now since it's mostly for bird and 00 bucks. Most of my other sights are green(ACOG and RMR) because I can pick up that green reticle super quick and easy. No, it doesn't lose contrast when aiming at trees, I was able to hit two skeets this afternoon when they fly into the green leaves, and the range is also surrounded by trees. The fact it is solar and battery powered are great features for my use, and the auto on/off and brightness make this sight very smart. The auto brightness only goes from your setting to the max brightness is so thoughtful (which means I can change the minimum brightness anytime). And push both buttons can turn it off if I have absolutely no need to use the sight and push anyone to awake it to the previous setting is just convenient and will help extend the super long battery life.Shotguns in general are pretty rough on the sights, I had this sighted yesterday and it held zero just fine. The titanium hood has already protected the Al body from a few light scratches. The mount is pretty solid and I did try to QD it a few times for the training and it returned to zero no problem. This sight let me use the middle position for the M4's butt stock which is nice(as the picture is shown), the full length of pull is kind long for me, the middle position gives me less felt weight and shorter overall length (which makes the aim faster and less strenuously). It just let skeet shooting more fun and relaxing, and I can teach someone totally new to shotgun super quick on how to shoot it.I mean, shoulder the gun, both eyes open, put the circle on your target, pull the trigger (safely, of course), what can be more straight forward? Especially when you have a Benelli M4 with this sight? My friend(new to guns) started hitting flying clay within 5mins from I handed him the shotgun while teaching him how to use it.

Great sight
Holosun makes great, affordable optics. I ended up with the red dot version of this, but both are amazing, with many levels of visibility, I like my reticle just visible to overlay the target.

Great Rey Eye Sight for Shotgun!
Works as expected! Install easy to piccany rails out of the box with no zero in yet on target!
