An Engaging and Fun Detective Experience – Perfect for Date Night!
I recently got the "Murder In Market Hill" case file kit from Cryptic Killers as a birthday gift for my partner, and it turned out to be an incredible experience! We both thoroughly enjoyed collaborating together, piecing together clues, and ultimately solving the crime. The kit was well-crafted with detailed evidence and an engaging storyline that kept us hooked from start to finish. The quality of the materials and the thought put into each aspect of the case made the experience immersive and exciting. We felt like real detectives, sifting through the evidence and forming theories until we finally cracked the case. It was the perfect blend of challenging and fun, making for a memorable and enjoyable evening.I can't recommend this enough—10/10 for sure! We're already looking forward to diving into more case files from Cryptic Killers. If you're looking for a unique and entertaining activity to do with a partner or friends, this is it.

Fantastic evening!
We loved this detective game for date night on holiday. Well... 2 date nights actually. We spread it across 2 consecutive evenings and even mused over it at lunch in between. We thoroughly enjoyed working out who the murderer was by following the extremely well thought out clues, documents and online resources. It kept us involved and invested from the minute we started to the minute we finished. The resources and well designed and look very realistic. The theme is brilliant. We found this challenging but not so difficult that we couldn't complete it without the hints.I want to play another one already!

Excellent entertainment.
This is our first Cryptic Killers case. We thought we'd give it a go over Christmas, for an afternoon's entertainment. It actually took us two afternoons! The evidence pack is excellent. It's so realistic. Plus having to get to online evidence too. It was great fun. We got a bit carried away and tried to use our fridge as a whiteboard like they do on TV, with information on post-it notes. We cannot recommend this highly enough. It would work for one person or a group. It is suitable for a wide age range. All the materials are top quality. Excellent value for money. We will definitely be trying to solve another case soon.

Another fun romp. but objectively not a 5* difficulty, and somewhat flawed
Really great materials and set up as always (ive done ALL of them). Infact this one might be better than the others in terms of story/background, i was hooked instantly. What i will say is this is the perfect one for anyone to start with, there are lots of things that look like they might later be red herrings or relevant, which later end up not being used.. so the story is detailed and engaging, without needing to pick up on, and remember, every detail - everything is pretty straight forward, and theres no real tricks or gotchas. Determining the killer really involves noticing one (pretty obvious) detail, and doing a puzzle. This gives a great flavour for what the other games are like, and i definitely enjoyed it, but it was objectively the easiest solution (in terms of hoops to jump through and logical deductions/connections to make)... in fact it was somewhat too easy, and the usual jump for joy getting it right was somewhat soured by the fact this one holds your hand so much. Personally, i like red herrings and having to double-read everything, and going a bit insane towards the end trying to hold everything in your head.In short, its a perfect start to Cryptic Killers, but if you've done ones like the Musician, Casino, Biologist, Theatre, Manor (i realise im basically listing them all) and want an equal or more advanced challenge, you wont find it here. this is a 3.5 at best, but a solid experience all the same. I still think the Musician is the best one in terms of overall package; story, complexity, satisfaction.

A must for a fun night in!
So much fun. Had 3 generations working together to solve. We split it over two days. Was impressed with all the elements - looked just like the real thing. Have already bought another one to do!!

Absolutely loved this one!
I absolutely loved loved loved this murder mystery. I started it with my husband but we never finished it as we were drinking wine and eventually we couldn't concentrate 🤣 therefore I decided to start it again on my own and I was gripped. I had to interrupt it when I did the afternoon school run but my mind was racing with evidence and ideas of who the killer was, I couldn't wait to get back to it. This particular game was quite difficult, but certainly not impossible. I'm too stubborn to use hints so it took me longer than other games have done, but it kept me gripped the whole time. I cannot wait to get started on my next case file. What an amazing gift to receive and now I'm hooked. No corners are cut in the making of the game, every detail has been thought about. Stunning game!
