Worth every penny. Great Quality for a great price!
Finally took the dive and bought this aftermarket head unit. It looks and works great, and installation is really easy! I had some power/electrical issues, but was solved by re-soldering all the wires thoroughly. I love the functionality of the Carplay, it connects quickly and pretty flawlessly.Since then, I’ve only had one small issue, but it may have been due to heat. The unit sounded like a broken record for about 2 minutes and wouldn’t respond to touch or input on the phone. It restarted itself after about 2-3 minutes, and all has been well since.I’ve noticed a difference in sound quality from my stock radio, the sound felt more “flat” than stock. I don’t play around with any EQ settings, so it could be due to the EQ profile. I bought a $100 sub-amp combo and it sounds great! I also noticed that with no amp, the volume loses starts to crackle and really lose quality once you hit “30” on the volume (it goes to 40). This was also solved with my amp install.Install might be difficult or intimidating for a newbie to cars, electrical or install stuff, but anyone with a modicum of handiness will have no problem installing this unit!Price point is incredibly low, and performance gives these high-dollar units a run for their money!

Amazing Value: Easy Setup, Great Screen, and Wireless CarPlay!
Two years ago, I purchased a Pioneer CarPlay radio, and last week, it stopped working. I came across this item, and the volume knob immediately caught my attention. Adjusting the volume with touchscreen buttons on my old Pioneer was really frustrating.I was worried that I might have to sacrifice build quality due to the unknown brand, but I was shocked to find that it looks and feels even more premium than my old Pioneer—at half the price! Another great bonus is the wireless CarPlay.I’ve been using it for a couple of days now, and so far, not a single glitch. The screen quality is also noticeably better—brighter and sharper than my old Pioneer. The installation instructions were unbelievably well written, with numerous diagrams that made the installation a breeze.I have no complaints about the sound quality; it’s at least as good as, if not better than, my Pioneer. Highly recommend!

Excellent Value - Nice Settings - Good Bonus Camera - Unfortunate Glare
I bought this on sale for my 2004 Toyota Tundra. I did a decent amount of research beforehand and am happy I decided to go with this unit. No real issues in first 3 months of ownership.Apple CarPlay was easy to set up and if my phone's Bluetooth is on when I start the truck it connects fairly quickly without issue and stays connected. The CarPlay screen/layout is editable from your phone and it's easy to switch between CarPlay and radio/other sources. Some reviews mention not being able to play radio while using GPS of CarPlay but that hasn't been my experience (however, I might have newer software as I asked customer support for the custom Toyota boot logo which, as an aside, is a really nice touch).I'm not an audiophile so I can't comment on whether this improved the sound of my 20-year old truck speakers, but I do like the ability to adjust the EQ especially the output for my after market subwoofer as the alternative would be crawling under the seat with a screwdriver to manually adjust a dial.At the time of purchase they included a 'free' backup camera and it's surprisingly good quality. In the unit settings you can turn reverse guidelines on/off - a number of cameras out there require you to cut a wire to turn the guidelines off which makes it harder to turn them back on ;p My truck is 18-feet long and I was able to run the camera from the rear license plate all the way up to my head unit without needing any extenders - curious why people don't think the wiring is long enough, perhaps a less optimized wire route.Touchscreen has good responsiveness - for reviews saying otherwise I wonder if they've removed the protective film that's on the screen...I'm giving the unit 5-stars for value, features, and support. However, and this might just be my setup, there is a good amount of glare. Not sure other brands could avoid this. My truck isn't crazy big but my viewing angle is more side-on as opposed to head-on which probably contributes to the glare.NOTE: This was my first time installing a car radio - I'm fairly handy but did lean on YouTube videos to help as I'm not sure the manual would've been enough. I had to buy a wiring harness to connect this to my truck's speakers/system but that will be the case for 99% of buyers - I also needed a plastic dash mount kit so heads up you might need one too.
