I finally found a cord to fit my tablet...only wish the cord was longer.

BOTTOM LINE:1. I do not recommend this SaiTech IT 2 Pack USB 3.0 Cable A to Micro B cables.2. The current price of ~$5 is very reasonable.LIKES:- Short cables for my situation.- Transfers data. Good for misplaced cables that I can't find.DISLIKES:- Not USB3.

I ordered this 2 pack of USB data cables, but did not get what was promised. The cables I received were labeled USB 2.0 (see photo) rather than 3.0 as advertised in the product listing title and description. Also note that the USB-A side of the cable has the standard USB 1.0/2.0 "white" interior, rather than the USB 3.0 "blue" interior.Other than that, the cable itself generally works as expected. You can see from the photo that this cable is much shorter (about half the length) than the one that originally came with my external hard drive. The cable also plugs into my old Samsung Note 3, allowing my to charge it up after sitting in a drawer since I its charging cable broke.Overall, the cable works if you need this kind of connection. However, you might want to consider getting one that is longer. Also, if using it with external hard drives, then you might also want to ensure you are getting a true USB 3.0 cable so you can maximize the throughput from the drive to your computer (or other device where you are moving files to or from).

I tried these a replacement for longer cables to increase transfer speed, and the transfer speed slowed dramatically. By over almost mbps.

Correct Length

I somehow lost the cables to two of my external hdd's and used these for a replacement. They work as well as the originals, fitment into the sockets are smooth and solid.Great value for the money.
