This stays cool nicely. My dog is spoiled and won’t lay on it on the floor, but will if I put it on the couch or a chair. It cools her off pretty quick, she gets really hot after we play fetch in the summer. It’s durable, I stepped on it once and felt something “pop” but no gel or anything came out, so that was good. Sometimes I lay my feet on it while I’m on the couch with my dog and you can feel how cooling it is yourself. My dog is 15lbs and it’s bigger than she would need, but large enough that she can sprawl out on it perfectly.

Garbage, my 41 pound border collie used it for a week before I started seeing liquid all over. Her little nails cut right through it. Do not buy. Also paper thin and no cushion to it & didn’t even stay cool 1hour!!

I was concerned about purchasing the cooling mat after reading comments about them getting holes in them easily. My full size Aussie weighing 65 lbs. LOVES this pad. I covered it with an old towel as suggested and have not experienced any of the problems. My Aussie is large working dog so his nails are always on the sharper side. Still no punctures in the mat, no leaking experienced - The mat has held up for over a month now without problems. The coolness of the mat has been wonderful since we live in Arizona and our temperatures have been at the 100 degree mark for several weeks now.

This product doesn't work. It kind of works indoors but only really gets as cool as the floor not colder. Outdoors, where it's hot, it doesn't work at all. If the sun gets to it it actually gets hot. If you put it in the fridge it gets cold, but doesn't stay cold. Big waste of money.

Bought one of these for my greyhound after his summer walks, and loved it so much we bought another for a geriatric lab. The dogs seek them out. The extra large size is fine for a dog of 70-80 pounds. We also put it on top of the dog bed, to have a soft cooling bed for them.

Our Dog didn't like it at all. It looks a lot thicker on the picture, than in person! Actually looked close to paper thin. I'm very disappointed, and our dog even more so!!

My two rescue dogs hate it. Ok, one completely hates it the other is indifferent. I bought two, so I know it’s not a flaw in one. I don’t see the fuss about the cooling properties either. Already laid them out for a couple weeks or I would return. Look for a better brand.

Doesn't work at all! The 'gel' feels like water that doesn't stay cool, tried to freeze and that just made it hard.. hoping I'm still in time to return & refund. :*(
