I only give it a 3 because I wish it were a littler wider or taller on the walkway. I chose this over the climbing wooden ones (which I knew were good because we have family that have them) because of the “enclosed” walkway. But it’s barely wide enough for. 2 year old to walk through. Definitely not tall enough to be safe they won’t fall. Then there the telescope attachment……can’t use it unless you’re sitting down BECAUSE there’s not enough room for my toddler to squat to see through. And when she’s sitting, she can’t reach. So….the 3 rating is strictly for the sturdiness.
