The mailbox is for a wall-go-thru, nicely built it, solid, sturdy and it adjust to a wall thickness. The box goes on on side of the wall and mailbox chute (were you put the envelope ) on the other side of the wall. The two pieces interlap with each other. Great product.

A very secure solution for mail and the like.
This is a quality product, heavy-duty and very secure. The only downside is that there is no insulation, or movable barrier, in the chute to prevent cold air from getting through. Obviously, it can't be over-sealed or the mail couldn't get in. However, a plastic flap, or something like it, would have be a nice improvement.

Works great for our apartment community
Works great for our apartment community, very secure. The only downfall seems to be the small lip on the inside occasionally catches things on the way down the chute - we've put a piece of tape over it and that seems to help
