This battery is awesome. It took minutes to install (just one screw and it even comes with the screwdriver). It also has a much higher storage capacity than the one that came with the vacuum, so I can run it longer between charges. I've had zero issues since installing it so far, so it appears to be very reliable.

I never knew I would use my Dyson hand vacuum as much as I have. It has been heavily loved, but as time passed the battery lost ita juice. I found this replacement battery and figured it was worth a try. It has been worth every penny. My once 5 second use due to lost battery power, is now a full 15-20 minutes of use. I no longer have to plug it in after each use, and can use the Max Power button when in use. This vacuum helps with kids mess, car mess, and tons of other quick-clean messes. I thought I would have to replace the vacuum; happy to report I dont. The quality is just as good as it was when I first purchased the vacuum.It didn't take but a few minutes to replace the battery, and it even came with replacement filters. I could only use the one, as I have a V7, not V8. Nonetheless- I'd repurchase again and again!

Worked great for 8 months and then completely stopped charging. I kept the old Dyson battery and confirmed it wasn't the charger. The Dyson battery lasted 5 years and still sort of works it just doesn't have the same longevity. So in my experience $70 gets you 8 months. I'll probably just buy a new Dyson that comes with a good battery.Update: I had kept the box which I noticed said the battery has a 1 year warranty. I contacted the seller through the Amazon app. After a few messages and photographic proof that the battery wasn't working they sent me a new battery. I appreciate that they are standing by their product and honoring their warranty.
