Just what I neede at a very good price.
The finishing touch after installing the trailer hitch onto my car. Seems strong, well painted, & a chrome ball, all for a more than fair price. I highly recommend this product! 5 stars.

Worked great
Hubby’s truck had a 2.5 inch ball and I needed a 2 inch for the trailer I was renting. We were able to rig a proper hitch with an adapter sleeve that took his 2.5 inch receiver down to 2. But we had to also use a separate connector pin for the larger receiver. This post may be confusing to non haulers. But the hitch itself was exactly what I needed.

Quality control issues? Usable, but I've got doubts.
Let me begin by stating that the flaws I've identified won't deter me from using this hitch. I intend to use it for a small truck and light loads that won't approach the 6000-pound limit specified by the manufacturer. However, upon initial inspection, I noticed multiple quality control or manufacturing issues.Firstly, there were grinder marks adjacent to the welds on both sides of the hitch. Secondly, there were pea-sized pits in the welds at several locations. Finally, when the square tubing was cut, burrs from the cut were left inside the hitch and painted over. Interestingly, other reviewers have mentioned that their welds looked good, and based on a couple of pictures posted in those reviews, the welds do appear sound on those products. Could it be that I received an example with poor quality control? Perhaps.Initially, I considered that I might be overly critical in my examination, but I took the time to dismount a hitch I had previously purchased here from another truck to make a comparison. The hitch I had bought earlier had no issues akin to these. The welds were clean, and the square stock was cut neatly. In my opinion, the powder coating was also of better quality.Do I believe these issues affect its load-bearing capability? Not significantly, but I do question the quality control concerning the welds, if nothing else. Will I tow my riding lawnmower and tools behind it? Yes. Will I tow one of my wife's horses behind it? No, I won't.The price at the time of this review was approximately 25% less expensive than the one I compared it to, but I'm uncertain if the savings are worth it.

Good price
Half the price of what it would be at a marine store.
