Grounded Beauty Large Sleep Mat - 54" x 72"

After watching the documentary on Grounding I searched on amazon and found this bed mat and ordered it right away. The reason for wanting to try this product is because I have high blood pressure and my husband has chronic pulmonary disease. He coughs a lot at night and have not had a good nights sleep in almost a year due to his chronic coughing. I didn’t tell him I installed the mat because I wanted to see the effects of this product on him because of the immediate response others in the documentary experienced. In just two days of sleeping on this mat remarkable response was amazing. He only got up one episode of coughing the first night, second night he slept all the way through the night without coughing! The third day I made him watch the grounding documentary and revealed the mat to him. He said he also felt better last couple of nights and slept in an extra hour.As for my personal experience, the first thing I noticed was how rested I felt in the morning of my first night sleeping on the mat. There after it’s been incredible. My BP is more controlled and I no longer need to take my medication every night. Only as needed. It’s been two weeks sleeping on the mat and I love it!! I highly recommend you give this product a try. I give it 5 stars because I feel and see a health benefit using it. Btw. You don’t feel the electrical currents. it’s very faint. You quite your mind and body and I you can feel something happening.

I heard of these grounding sheets/mats before but never purchased one until recently. I was a bit skeptical at first. Thought that I would wait a while before leaving a review. When I first received it I had placed it directly on top of my fitted sheet so my bare skin would touch it to get the best affect. After sleeping with it for several days above the fitted sheet I decided to place it under the fitted sheet to see if it still works. First, I did notice that I slept better the first night and the consecutive nights with the sheet on top of the fitted sheet, but the down side was the grounding mat kept sticking to my skin because the side that you sleep on has a rubbery texture to it and was at times uncomfortable when trying to adjust to a different sleep position. After placing it under the fitted sheet, problem solved. And, it didn't seem to change the affects at all, and, of course, is more comfortable. I heard these sheets/mats do not last long (1-2 years) but if that is the case with the one I bought, I will have no problem purchasing another one a year or so from now if need be. In my opinion, this mat is well worth it!

My husband has severe nerve damage and we have purchased many grounding/earthing products over the past 10 years. I check reviews religiously and do a lot of research for making any purchase, I have to say that this has been the worst grounding product we have purchased thus far.When I purchase a new product, I always have my husband try it out because due to his nerve damage his sensitivity is elevated. Unfortunately, when he tried this one his words were, "Maybe, I feel it". This is NOT a normal grounding reaction for him! We tested the outlets we use with our grounding products to ensure they were working correctly and they were fine.The final determining factor-- I normally plug in our electric blanket to warm the bed before getting in. After the bed warms, I will unplug the blanket and plug in the grounding mat. Well, this day both were plugged in-- without a shock!!! That tells me that this grounding product did not work!!!Try lessemf.com for legitimate products. I would return this if I hadn't worked with it so long.... THINKING IT WAS WORKING... SAVE YOUR $$

After reading Clint Ober's book on earthing, I knew I had to buy a product for earthing as I hate walking barefoot. I researched Google on how I could begin the process and settled on this mat as it appeared to give me the best grounding experience for the longest amount of time. Still, when I got the mat, I had my doubts. Fortunately, it came with clear instructions on exactly how to set everything up, and it even included a grounding tester. As soon as I lay down on the mat last night, an instant feeling of well-being surged over me. I felt as if I were lying on the earth itself, not on a high bed in the insulated room of a house. I slept deeply and woke up refreshed, better than I have felt in years. It did not occur to me that all my back pain had disappeared until I sat down to write this review!

Measurements not large enough

I originally had the old kind of grounding sheet from the same company. It definitely worked, but it was not comfortable to sleep on, and it got a run in it which I can’t patching over and over again till eventually the patch was the size of a pillowcase! The material would just run! It was horrible. I was really excited to see the new design, it fits nicely under the sheets, and feels like leather?Are used to ground all the time because I grew most of my own produce, but last year to cut down on maintenance we filled the isles of all of our beds with wood chips… Not so good on bare feet .I can’t really say that this works, I can’t tell. I wish they would send you an Ohm reader or something.I bet that would be really powerful selling agent.But it looks to be nice quality and we have it on our bed underneath sheets anyway.Benefit to the new design, are usually take my showers at night because I get really dirty between gardening and children throughout the day. A lot of times I would want to put lotion on, but would hesitate because of the old design of sheets – you don’t want lotion to come in contact with the metal. Now I don’t have to worry about that so much.
