Easy and convenient travel accessory
This strap saved me on a recent trip on my own with my 4-year old daughter. I strapped her carry-on bag on top of my rolling bag to get us through the airport and still have a hand free to roll her in her car seat (we have a cart for her seat and can use it like a stroller through the airport until we gate check it). The best part about it is that when she decides she doesn't want to wear her jacket I can just stuff it under the straps on top of the bag and it's secure but still very handy if she decides she wants it again and I don't have to keep opening to my carry-on to put it in and take it out. It also worked really well for the car seat gate check bag to be stuffed under it until I needed it again at the next gate for our connecting flight. Very easy to use and tucks easily into an outside pocket of my carry-on bag to be easily accessible. It made traveling on my own with a pre-schooler so much easier.

Essential for traveling
When I first got this, I thought that I probably wouldn't use it very often and would only be able to secure one little bag to the top of my suitcase -- wrong! My husband, 2 of our adult children, and myself drove to California with a two-night stop in Las Vegas. I took this with me and when we were unloading our luggage in the parking garage of the casino, tried it out to see if I could secure all of our beach bags and towels to the top of my suitcase and save us another trip out to the car to unload. No problem, it secured all of them. The bungee doesn't come with very good instructions and by some of the reviews I've seen, some people get really confused trying to figure out how it works. You don't secure the loop to the telescoping handle of a suitcase, you tighten the belt on the smaller handle that is secured on the top of the suitcase, then you pull the elastic straps over what you're trying to secure and over the telescoping handle. You can tighten the elastic bands after that. It works well and I had no problem with my load shifting or losing some of it and my suitcase is hard sided and smooth. I have even used it for securing my purse to my rolling computer bag when I'm going through the airport. Love it!

Great Product
Extremely useful for frequent flyers who want to secure their smaller bag or their coat during winter time on top of their luggage

very handy but complicated
one feature that this one has that others don't is it doesn't use the handle of the add on bag for attachment which can add stress to the hanging bag and doesn't keep it from swinging to the side toppling the whole kit and kaboodle which happened to me once on the jet way. my personal bag has a slide on feature on the back to put over the handle of the carry on, a feature I would look for again if I need to replace it, so this is for things that don't have a handle or coats and sloppy shopping bags etc. in that sense it's a winner. I knew I didn't want one of those single strap jobs with hoops and hooks, and saw this one.Just used this on a trip, on my carry on. going between climates, it's handy to throw a coat, or smaller bag and only wheel one bag.installing it is another matter. I am dyslexic, seriously, but I found it a little confusing to put on. I left it in place so as not to have to deal with it again on the return trip. I'm glad I have it, and will use it, I just wish it were a little easier to take on and off, but am willing to admit that could be me. I also found the very long cord a little cumbersome, but I think one could shorten it once you figure out what length you really need. I just shoved it into the handle well for the overhead and it stayed put. my hands aren't too strong so tightening it can be a problem as well, but with a little practice, it was ok. still glad I have it.

Very happy
Recently purchased this because of a back injury caused me to get a roller back pack with no way of attaching to my roller bag. I have torture tested it and it works 5x5. The back pack is super big and super heavy and it still works. Require a little extra work but solid piece of kit.

Almost a great item
The concept is great. It is extremely simple to use -- just follow the instructions that are on it. It works well for very soft items like a jacket or coat and very boxy items like a briefcase. I had difficulty with the things that are in between like a shopping bag with various items in it or a purse. In those cases, it seemed that the bags would want to squeeze out on one side or another. Adding a small bungee to wrap the item worked well. It would be interesting to see if someone could incorporate that into this product.
