100pcs Size 4#~6/0 Offset Point Octopus Hook with Closed Eye Black High Carbon Steel Sport Circle Hook

I just used #4 hooks for surf perch fishing. Caught over a dozen, and every hookup was solid, mostly in the corner of the mouth. Hooks are a little weaker than the hooks that cost many times as much. I bent one slightly when unhooking a gill-hooked fish using a pliers. Value is excellent.

My daughter and I have used these now for a few weeks and have caught many catfish out of a community lake, and have given a few away as well. These are ultra sharp, really strong, and have a beautiful black nickel finish. I'm sold.

I use these for walleye fishing in fresh water. I have to admit that I was skeptical at first but for the price it was worth the risk. I normally spend upwards of 4-4.50 for 10 hooks so 6.99 for 100 seemed too good to be true…..well it wasn’t!First the good: the price is awesome! They seem to be fairly sturdy and mimic the Gamakatsu hooks I normally buy. The points are plenty sharp enough. They catch fish! I have already caught plenty of walleye, sheephead, suckers, bass and many other species with them and can’t really blame the hooks for the ones I missed on. They tend to hook the corner of the mouth as they were designed to.Now the cons: they do bend a little easier than Gamakatsu (but I haven’t had any bend out on me with fish) but for the price I still consider it a win. Makes it a lot easier just junk a hook instead of trying to bend it back into shape…I did receive 1 out of the 100 that was bent right out of the bag and the eyelet wasn’t even attached. Those are all the cons I can come up with.I am an avid fisherman and after my original order of 100 I have gone on to order 500 more just to stock up cause at this price I just can’t beat it!Hope this helps in your decision making.

Way cheaper than my local bait shop and are very strong and will hold a big catfish !

Wanted to replace #4 J hooks on eq size circle hooks. This circle hooks looks really good - not too heavy, right shape (I have had no chance to actually fish with them yet)
