Great Radio Scanner!
Great little Scanner. DMR comes in loud and clear. Audio may sound a little muffled at times but I feel the Scan rate is good and it picks up frequencies pretty well! It is great for local Police,Fire,Air and Rail. HAM radio is also picked up well! It is easy to program also.

Junk Without Programming
Must be programed to use it and the process is so confusing and loaded with BS that it would be better to buy a less expensive one that is preprogramed. There are services to program it but you have to pay a premium for the service.Junk, without programing and a lot of knowledge base needed to program yourself. NOT FOR BEGINNERS!

For the price, it's a great NXDN scanner!
First off, I use commercial grade NXDN radios for my hobby and was quite surprised to see this from Uniden with NXDN capability right out of the box and a decent price. The good news is that "it works". I prefer to use Pro-Scan software rather than Uniden's as it will connect to my PC and do logging, etc. The scanner does have limited functions in that it will not decode incoming Radio ID's (OTAA) but for just listening to the calls it's pretty slick. The product listing on Amazon was pretty accurate. This is the kind of scanner you could program up and hand to a "non-radio user" and let them scan the bands to their heart's content. I haven't tried the base/mobile version yet, but the portable is a keeper.

Great scanner to use along side a existing digital p25 scanner
This scanner picks up analog, DMR and NXDN. It does not pick up P25 or do trunking. It is a great scanner if you already have something like a Whistler WS1065 or WS1040 and your area went to dmr or nxdn. You can use it along side your existing scanner to hear all the action.

Not worth the money
Non-rated, disappointed and was not able to program. A waste of money.

Uniden Scanner review
The scanner is very compact in size, is quite sensitive to radio signals, and has a good battery life. However, police frequencies in most locations are now protected so it is not possible to listen to police conversations.
