As an avid Wingspan player for many years, this game brings many different twists and mechanics. I am still determining the best strategy to use, as the Wingspan strategies do not apply here. The artwork is beautiful, and the game is a lot of fun.

This game is awesome! We have wingspan the board game as well as the Xbox game. So I was super excited to get this dragon version. Love it! Many things have been added or updated and new mechanics. We've only played a few times so far and I am just thrilled with it. We haven't used the expansions yet but will in the future. I would suggest getting this one over wingspan unless u are just wanting the bird theme.

My family loves Wingspan. This game came out and my 10 year old convinced us to buy it, and we were NOT disappointed.It plays pretty similar to Wingspan with some variations. The complexity is raised about a level or two. There are added competitions, like a dragon guild you are trying to explore to gain resources. There is a DRAGON FACTS manual in this game, which is pretty awesome. It has some highlights and backstories of the dragons in the game. The gameplay time is similar to Wingspan and it follows the same turn style.My 10 year old could play Wingspan in his sleep, and like I said before, this game added a little more to the gameplay. But he quickly caught on and enjoyed it immensely.The quality of the boards and pieces and wonderful! I have zero complaints about this game. Anyone looking to add this to your collection will not be disappointed!

Gahhhh why are these games so fun! It’s so addicting! I love it so much! The quality of the pieces are amazing. It’s super easy to learn. There are videos online to quickly learn and get going. Reader, I wish I was you reading this and playing again for the very first time. Stop thinking about whether it’s worth the price or not. (It is.) Just do it. Invite some friends over and play.

We love wingspan and typically play the two player wingspan:Asia version. We purchased this mainly because of the theme- I mean birds or dragons? Dragons, please! The game is highly rated on BGG and for good reason. It plays well with 2 and with 3 and 4. Filled with a number of good choices - ie strategy tactics for gaining points - we have found our games to be decently close. Often just a few decisions separating us. Additionally, we’ve tried different strategies in different games and have seen that it isn’t just a one-strategy-wins game. Overall, love it!

This is a beautiful and fun game. We recently played it at a game night and had a great time. The directions are clear, and once we did a round or two everyone was able to grasp the strategy and play well. I look forward to playing it many more times in the future! I hope there will eventually be expansions for it.

After thoroughly enjoying Wingspan we couldn’t wait to try Wyrmspan and we were not disappointed! It adds on wonderfully to the existing idea of Wingspan, with a bit more complexity and enjoyment. The book of dragon details was a lovely touch. So pleased!

If you have someone in your family who can figure out the rules, you will love this game. Our college age grandson guided us through. It is fun on a variety of levels; attention to detail, strategy, luck!! What a clever game. Beautiful art too.
