I've had this for a couple of months now. It holds much more charcoal than your typical supermarket starter allowing you to reach phenomenal temperatures. Given it's holding that temperature until you dump the charcoal, it remains in fantastic condition.The deal handles come in helpful if you're running a full load of charcoal as given its construction, it becomes somewhat heavy.I'd recommend having some kind of spray oil that you can apply immediately after dumping the charcoal, it allows you to keep the stainless in good condition with a nice patina.Would highly recommend, it's worth the price.

The design of this product has been given a great deal of thought to make it efficient and well constructed. Safety and longevity are other important criteria incorporated in the design and materials used.

This thing is a flamin BEAST!!I have been a serious BBQ enthusiast for decades and never seen anything like this before in terms of quality.My old galvanized starter is about to rust though so wanted to replace it with one that will last.I was considering the webber version but really glad I got this BEAST instead!Very, very chunky and excellent quality. Heavy-duty stainless Steel with solid cool grip heat resistant oversized plastic grips. 2 handles for excellent control.Who ever designed it is obviously a BBQ er themselves....This thing is a monster, will give you more than enough for a single cook in a standard 18in kettle...etc.If you keep coming back to this one in your search, stop looking and get this, it will probably out live you!

I've had a similar barbecue chimney before, but it was a cheap one from a supermarket. It worked well but burned through and rusted quickly. This new one is stainless steel, it sturdy, well made and is lasting very well.

a great tool for starting your BBQ, saves time and coals

Replaced one of the Weber chimney starters with this. Much better quality, great heat seperation with the heat shield plate, and the 2-handle system makes pouring the charcoal out much easier.As soon as you pick this up, you can tell it's very decent quality.

This is very big

Having worked my way through at least six(!) Weber starters over the last few years - we BBQ a lot - having had this for 3 month now I can report that it is superior in every way. It is really well made; very strudy and being made from stainless stell should last a lot longer.

Die beste Anschaffung. Material, Edelstahl, ist super Pflegeleicht, robust und hitzebeständig. Alle Kriterien, die man braucht. Sind super zufrieden und würden erneut kaufen. Leider aktuell nicht vorhanden.

Gekauft weil die verzinkten Anzündkamine irgendwann rosten, was man dann auch überall sieht wo man den Kamin abstellt. Bisher erst 2x benutzt. Verglichen mit den üblichen verzinkten Baumarkt-Dünnblech-Kaminen ein sehr massives und großes und wertiges Bauteil. Eine komplett andere Fertigungsqualität! Das es zwei Griffe für das Handling gibt hat seine Berechtigung. Jetzt hoffe ich, dass es mit dem Rost ein Ende hat. Ich würde diesen Anzündkamin wieder kaufen.

Als „Holzfreund“ finde ich den Kunststoffgriff nicht gut

Bester Anzündkamin ,den .ich je hatte . Die Materialstärke überzeugt, konsequenter Einsatz von Edelstahl mit entsprechender Stärke für lange Lebensdauer. Absolut empfehlenswert . Der vergleichsweise höhere Preis ist gerechtfertigt.
