Let down by omission of thump circuitry.
A compact sturdy unit let down by no "Thump Circuit" which can damage speakers when the unit is powered down, this amp gave a loud thump even at zero volume when powered down. I had to return the amp for a refund as it developed noise on the right channel after a few hours use.With the inclusion of thump circuitry and a more rigorous quality control it would be a first class little amp.It's plus points are that it occupies a very small footprint and of a strong steel construction.

Simple amplifier, good sound, small size, silent and with a real ON/OFF button
Ideal for monitoring or any other purpose. Versatile amplifier.The sound is good, and the signal-to-noise ratio OK too. The big advantage is a real ON/OFF button, because when you switch on an installation using a main switch or remote control sockets (home automation), the other amplifiers don't switch on, or worse, go into standby mode if there's no sound and you have to press the ON button. So this old-fashioned model is perfect for a whole of applications.We are now using 6 of them and we are completely satisfied, keeping one in reserve because this real ON/OFF button is so precious!The only downside is perhaps the lack of right/left balance adjustment. The power supply is not external (another good point). Small size, passive cooling (silent). Reliable quality

Potencia Suficiente
Según pone la descripción es para escuchar música ambiente. no es muy valorable mi opinión sobre el sonido ya que lo devolví porque al apagar el aparato sonaba un POC por los altavoces sobrecargando los mismos (defecto expresado en alguna otra opinión). El sonido tenia poco detalle y era un poco denso, pero sonaba bien a bajo volumen. No se si seria por el defecto del interruptor, etc... Movía suficiente unos altavoces de dos vías ( 6,5 pulgadas y 50 watios rms ) a un cuarto de volumen.

Was soll man groß sagen, Monacor weiß halt wie man Verstärker baut. Hochwertig und elegant, erstaunlich schwer der kleine Kasten.

Me gusta su simplicidad, y echo de menos la entrada para fono.
