Be sure to confirm battery holder switch before wiring into your device
Be sure to test battery holder switch before wiring into your device. The first one that I soldered into my device failed to provide power. No continuity in the switch in on position. Could have been the switch itself or poor solder connection to switch. Impossible to tell without destroying the battery holder, so I just scrapped it and moved on. I tested a second battery holder switch and it worked fine. Made my connection.

Well made and do the job
So I use these on small remote controls that normally use a 3v button cell. Yes, it takes some surgery to solder to the pins inside the remote but they sure work better afterward.
