Red Kap Men's Stain Resistant, Flat Front Work Pants

HORRIBLE QUALITY AND POSSIBLY A FAKE
What a disappointment when I opened the box of our uniform pants. I was hoping to have found a new vendor. Was I ever wrong. They took a larger pair of pants and sewed the waist closed all the way through to the crotch area. There is so much extra material it is ridiculous. Without even wearing the pants, the stitching is coming apart. We use Red Kap brand all the time and have never seen anything like this. Even the labels are different than our regular pants we have. The stitching in the waist band is not even the same (see photo). The pockets are like burlap or some hard rough material. These pants are not even worth 5$ a pair let alone the 30+ I paid per pair. So disappointed.

Will Buy Again
I bought these as a cheaper alternative to Dickies and from my experience, these are better. They are correct size in the waist. I wear a 30" waist but having had Dickies before, I ordered a 32x32 from Red Kap and they were true 32", being loose on me. They are comfortable, durable, and well made. This was my first purchase of a Red Kap product and I was very impressed. I have since bought a work shirt, which is hands down better than my Dickies one. I don't plan on buying Dickies again as their products are mostly made in China, inconsistent in quality, and more expensive.Update: I bought this back in July 2016, now it's October 2017. Still, these pants look great and feel great. I have worn these at least once, sometimes twice, a week every week since buying them. No problems yet! I can't say the same for my Dickies which have had a button pop-off or seams come unsewn.

Good work pants just be sure to wash them at least once before wearing
These are my go to work pants. They are not as stain resistant as you might expect but I keep buying them because at the price point I can just buy more when mine become too offwhite or stained. I probably use each pair for about a year wearing them twice a week so that's a good number of wears. If youh do buy some they arrive and look just awful, they are overly starchy and the material feels very cheap. Wash them once before wearing and they'll not only soften but it magically makes the material feel like normal work pants.

Can't move
I typically wear a 46 waist but ordered a 48 to be safe and their still a little snug. If you want to be able to move your legs then move on I can barely climb into a truck with these things on. Not to mention they are cheap. 3 weeks and I've torn a hole in the thigh.

Poor quality stitching and fit small and tight
These pants seem cheaply sewn. The stitching is inconsistent with loose threads everywhere, jagged button holes, and a mysteriously huge, irritating seam flap in the back. It's like they just cut all the pants from one pattern, then gather all the extra material in the back for smaller sizes. I usually wear a size 32, but ordered a 33 after reading other reviews stating that they fit small. I should've ordered a 34. I can button them but they're uncomfortably tight. I wear my pants just below my hips like most people, but they're still quite tight in the crotch. They're uncomfortable to crouch down, sit, or bend over in. The fabric is obviously mostly polyester. It's rough, has zero flex, and doesn't breath. While the material itself seems durable, I have little faith in the seams holding up, especially in the ungusseted crotch.I don't know who these are designed for, but clearly not my average to thin body type. I measured my waist in multiple places went by the size chart and they're still too small. Even the inseam seems shorter than the 32" I ordered. Despite being so tight in the waist and crotch, there is an abundance of extra material around the thighs and calves. Too much in my opinion. These are definitely a more outdated, unfitted style of pants. I am supposed to wear these specific pants for automotive school. I don't know why they chose this style since they restrict movement so much. Luckily Amazon has a great return policy, because these went back immediately. Hopefully my school allows me to wear a different style/brand in the same color.

A very good value, especially for big and tall!
I'm a pretty big dude and finding pants that fit and are long enough is a challenge. The majority of clothing manufacturers or distributors subscribe to the belief that if you are tall you must be skinny and, of course, if you have a waist over 42" you must be short and stocky. I am neither of these things and buying pants is a daggone hassle. Last time I bought "good" pants it was expensive as all get out and that's when I could find anything. These pants are great. Kind-of like a light weight fire hose-esque material. I dropped pizza on them (day one, of course) and it wiped right off. Perfectly long and fits nicely. Pretty bulky, obvious stitching, but it doesn't look bad or cheap or anything. Just kinda industrial. They are great work pants. I kind of bridge between office and manufacturing very frequently in my job and I don't feel out of place in either. Button seems stout. Only thing I noticed is the left rear pocket seems more towards the side and around towards the front. Again, I don't think it's an error, just a design element. I thought it was a cell phone pocket or something, but it was just the back pocket. That pocket doesn't have a button and the right does. Wallet side I suppose.Anyhoo, I instantly ordered another pair in dark green. Two thumbs up. 5 stars; would buy again. Did buy again.

Durable but stylish work pant
These are my husband's official company-provided work pants. He gets five pair a year. But by January of the following year he is down to only 2 or 3 pair because they get too stained to wash -- paint, grease, whatever. They are stain-resistant but you can't spill paint on them and expect to have it come out in the wash! So I had to order him two pair of pants online to tide him over until he gets 2018's allotment of five new pair. The pants are built to be tough but look good. They never require ironing and keep their front crease.

Red Kap mens work pants.
Good pants for working in a industrial environment. Came across this brand many years ago, as the uniform service people supply these. They wear like iron. Have a few that are 20+ years old. Still wear them in the garage to crawl around on the floor under a vehicle and house painting projects. Clean up, wash with Wisk detergent and your good to go.Fit perfect, delivered on time and as usual, Amazon had the best price.

Fit as expected
The fit was as i expected as was the colour. The only thing that I would change would be have a brass button over one that is sewed on, over time they come loose and i hate sewing buttons on, at first the button hole was a bit tight and difficult to fasten

Run very small.
Ordered these and several other pants in a 36/32, as that's what I've been wearing for a while. While there was some noticable variation in fit between brands, these ones were absolutely out to lunch. Wouldn't even come within 3" of clasping. They run VERY small.

Great for spotting ticks
I bought these pants for wearing in the bush, because they are white and will make it very easy to check for the presence of any black-legged ticks upon returning from the bush. (I also bought white work socks to tuck the pants into, above my work boots.) I'm now known locally as Col. Sanders, but can live with that. The pants seem well made, and sturdy. I may be ordering another pair to wear at home, for yard work.

Nice comfortable work pants
Great work pants. The fit is just right. Wear them for all my outdoors chores, in particular gardening and mechanics. Comfortable & very resistant. Great buy!

Nice pants
The pants are nice. My only complaint is that the waist is taken in and sewn in two spots on the back. It is irritating and bugs my skin on my lower back. It looks like these pants were much larger and adjusted for my size.
