Usual high standard DK publication
Science isn't everyone's favourite subject. This DK title is easy to read and beautifully illustrated. Great introduction to the sciences for inquisitive young minds (and older ones too!)

Really love the way this book is layed out, so easy to read with the format and the drawings to explain theories.

Very good and modern
Nice and clear presentation. The facts presented cover topics up to the latest discoveries and theories, and even when simplified to be accessible to children, the descriptions are accurate and correct. Physics is slightly overrepresented compared to other sciences, and some topics overlap with "How Technology Works" of the same series. The only significant con is that they use obsolete imperial system units, hence 4 stars.
